I mean, Sterling fell over by himself, but because a couple of Danish player made contact as he was going down, VAR decided not to intervene. I agree with the VAR decision, as it wasn't a clear and obvious error, but it was anything but a clear penalty.Great decision by the ref and very much in line with the generally good refereeing throughout the tournament. This includes the yellow on Jorginho yesterday and Shaw's foul on the Danish player leading up their goal, in case you're wondering.
They won’t be able to handle playing in the heat. Even in the winter.

Yes. Hitmen, fireworks & car crashes. It’s wild!!… but the “15 people were hurt, three seriously, in rowdy, post-match partying. One of them lost three fingers when a firework exploded in his hand.” seemed particularly relevant to the England fan discussion, considering arse man from yesterday…
I’ve also seen stuff from the semis my Italian cousins have sent me of people being drunkenly knocked off their scooters by cars and fireworks and general drunken tomfoolery… none of which means the Italians as particularly or uniquely awful, but d’you guys want a bit of back and forth, or d’you want a safe space?
And we love it! No abuse for our own players. Maybe your lot could learn something from itRemember how small time City are celebrating Uniteds’ downfall more than their successes? Then again, can’t blame the other home nations as just qualifying for a tournament gets an open top bus celebration.

The post/image you've used this in response to stated "Abuse little girl, point laser at a goalkeeper, bot at the other teams' national anthems, destroy London."
You put this in reference to rocket man, when he wasn't even mentioned.
It looks like you have missed the point.
I put it in reference to a post comparing England fans “destroying London” with Italian fans making wholesome pizza memes… it’s entirely appropriate.
Has Milan been "destroyed"?
listed some of the genuinely vile stuff English fans did and you try to equate that with a vague sentence of some people partying too hard.
Yeah. Also United could field an all Ireland XI that would give England run for their money. Certainly there’s an argument to which team would be better. So no wonder we have a huge Irish contingent. That’s just one of many factors. Bizarre to think that all United fans should have some sort of soft spot for England — far fecking from it.Utd fans getting booed while on international duty is another one. We literally chanted Argentina for a time or how Ronaldo made England look shite.
Its weird how this has to be explained on a Utd forum.
Has London?
If you think booing anthems and using laser pens is “vile stuff” I’ve got some more unfortunate news for you about Italian fans.
Who, btw, were exceptional at Wembley. But again, if you want a safe space just say mate…
City were celebrating downfalls of the most successful team in England and one of the greatest in the world. England isn’t even in top5. Slight difference huhRemember how small time City are celebrating Uniteds’ downfall more than their successes? The sixth biggest nation in Europe became the 14th to make the final. 10 have won. Real achievers England are. Maybe if they could only choose players from a base about half the size of London you might understand why others are happy to qualify.Remember how small time City are celebrating Uniteds’ downfall more than their successes? Holy shit, this dude's timeline. If England won that game, his family would have had to do a welfare check on him.
England is the dove.
England is the dove.
What success do England have?

It’s got to be a bit humiliating to support an English club and be anti English/England
The likes of Dixon, Shearer, Lineker and even (hate to say it) Rio have all seemed very biased in favour of England throughout. Not enjoying any of the coverage.
Obviously for the sake of our English players - the likes of Rashy, Maguire, Greenwood I hope they do well - however like all Utd fans I wouldn’t mind seeing England fall.
Way too much of our Utd fanbase also happens to support England for my liking.
seems to be a lot of utd fans that support them unfortunately
Italy for me but honorable mentions to Shaw, MacGuire, Greenwood and Rashy. They didn’t boo anybody.
Seems like he’d favour a move to us but I really hope he goes to City instead. Just awful.
He’s just another Thierry Henry. Average player pulling the wool over less knowledgeable football fans’ eyes by having ridiculous amounts of pace.
Depends on how the managers at some of the bigger clubs get on. A rocky start to the season for Madrid, Barca or ourselves and he’s going to be high on wishlists. He’s not going to turn down any of Barca, Madrid or Utd either.
Yeah, it’s not going to be a popular opinion but Villareal have spent a lot of money over the years. Pretty shocking considering our stature that we have not been able to match them in that regard but that’s where we’re at.
I’ve not heard of him. This isn’t the calibre of player we should be looking at, Atlanta aren’t exactly a big team. I’d rather just get Varane.
Had to be Zidane. He’s had aspirations of working for Utd for a long time, knows the game inside out, and would hold the board to account over the lack of spending. Just get him.
Maybe you should learn your football history. Their most recent glory...What success do England have?

England lost because their level of intensity wasn't there. Kane and Sterling were strolling about while the Italians were running hard so that the English players have no chance to rest when they have the ball.
They were simply too entitled, knowing they won't be subbed out early so they conserve their energy not running much. Truth is the 5+1 subs probably hurt England a lot more than Italy.
One more World Cup than all the other home nations put together. What success do England have?
Found some decent highlights of the game here
Which pundits wrote them off? I know a couple may have backed England to win but pretty much all of them had respect for Italy and knew either way it would be a tight gameMaybe if our pundits didn't do stupid things like writing off an experienced outfit like Italy then we wouldn't end up looking silly

What did they say? When did they write Italy off?Rio and Lineker seem to be the two names I keep seeing crop up
