Then there's a completely different approach which is giving you a sheep for an invalid pick, so instead of Didí you get Djemba-Djemba
Btw what source do you guys use for older players and total club apps? From my little research the pool in that box is really shallow and a bit of a shithole apart from Didi/Eto'o

Good research! One or two handy players that you wouldn't consider starters in an All-Time context, that's all. As said, it's obvious the entire point was Didí. Real don't produce and kick out good enough players, in their modern Galactico times shit players still easily get 30 games and in the olden times whoever they had who was good they kept as regular starters for ages.
No idea, never heard of it before. Imdb says "Prityazhenie" but I doubt that they will keep this name. The literal translation would be "Gravity", but they won't show it under this name to avoid confusion

I'm not picking on this to pick on you or @VivaJanuzaj, but I think we all underestimated how AMs in this format simply don't work. In a normal snake you have a plan, possible targets, some visibility into the future... Here you've got nothing of the sort, so every time the dice rolls you start afresh and everyone has to wait for multiple manager teams to find a convenient time (in a sheep draft at least everyone is planning and submitting concurrently so it doesn't hurt as much as in a snake full of surprises).
The point obviously being that the shadow system is vastly superior to get more people involved in this monopoly format (i.e. impossible to plan fun snake draft). I actually picked straight after P-Nut, while MJJ and Viva are yet to make a valid pick.

It was unfortunately (or not, for us) too short a peak due to injuries. I had him in contention as one of the Mou guys but thought I may as well reserve him for this stupid box. Of course, that was without checking he qualified. I assumed he would, same with the lesbian and several others I knew had been there for a season but not as regular starters. Tonnes of quality options just over the cut

Why didn't @Chesterlestreet get Djemba-Djemba? In fairness, he did want to plump on 13 to begin with.
I don't think it is intentional guys. It's quite a hassle this - the older players usually stayed longer than a season while when they began buying everything that moves there were 50-60 games per season so a lot of games to get some apps even if they didn't get proper chance.

There's a better pool than that to be honest. The problem is an underwhelming pick down the spine is a no-go, but they have their flanks pretty much set so the better options there are no use.
I know that it sounds harsh and you're welcome to quote this when I mess up myself, but I think that they should get their pick for this round after the initial drafting stage ends (like all those who won't have 14 players at the time). Or some "sheep" by Edgar's decision.

It's not a regular draft though, there's no risk of others picking their targets. I agree it's not hurting anyone, but it needs settling before the last pick.
The next round boxes shouldn't be known before they pick, and no one should be made to wait. If there's no player by the end of this they get a sheep from within that pool. There's a certain West Ham signing of theirs that would fit like a glove.
