La Liga 2018/19

Playing with Benzema for us is like playing 10vs11 from the start, pretty difficult to win games that way. I just dont get why he is still our 'striker'.I expect nothing from us this season anyway we lack talent offensively ! you cant win a CL or a Liga with Bale always injured Benzema the fraud and Mariano/Mayoral. Seeing a crap player like Lucas Vasquez on our bench make me sick too..

Harsh. He has had a good start to the season.

Odriozola is incredibly fast. His acceleration is ridiculous

Espanyol have messed up a couple of counters here.
Edit: Real take the lead with the help of VAR. Asensio.

La rojaficatión de Real Madrid.
:D At the moment the experiment is going well, but Lopetegui has to integrate Casemiro better into this system, shake Isco from time to time to make him vertical, and hope the rest of the team will contribute to cover Cristiano's goals.

Asensio scores!

Wondering why VAR took so long, he was clearly onside from 1st replay. Maybe being super cautious?Lovely finish, just inside the post. He's some player.

It is not necessarily a bad thing. I was just surprised, that even Benzema is dropping deep despite Casemiro, Modric, Ceballos and Isco already overloading the midfield.

It wasn't that clear tbh, I'd say he was level. Either way, long live VAR!

Espanyol with a big chance to score after a loose ramos pass is intercepted but the striker hits the bar in the 1v1

What a fecking performance :drool::drool::drool:

We're gonna do the treble if we keep playing like this

FFS. Hope Julen is kicking some asses right now in the dressing room. We looked like going through a training session

No Kroos, no Bale, no Marcelo and boy it showed. That was awful. Lucas and Benzema were abominable.

Lucas should be playing in Segunda B with Castilla, he has 0 talent and it's an insult to see him wearing the Real Madrid shirt to be honest.

Levante - Sevilla 1:2 after 26 minutes. Levante is looking good, despite missing a pen. Their goalkeeper is dodgy as feck. Those Sevilla defenders make some of the Levante players look like Messi. :wenger:

1:3.
Levante have to blame themselves for this. 3 goals after very stupid individual mistakes, while missing chances up front. I'll never be a Ben Yedder fan, but he is the only Sevilla attacker, who'll reliably score goals. He has to start from now on.

Ben Yedder . What a player! Big summer signing in 2019?

I've always liked him but he dosen't always get a regular start for Sevilla. Good finisher but dosen't always offer a huge amount outside the box so Hernandez type.

Thinking about it he'd be a good signing for Wolves.

nobody in his right mind would spend big on him. He is a hard-working poacher and on a good day fairly clinical. Today Levante messed up big time and he punished them. Overall he is very limited.

Fair enough. As i don't usually watch Seville, i can't judge him well. Having a good poacher like him in the squad is still good though.

Lenglet sent off makes things more interesting here.

BTW I hear Balague has wormed his way onto the co-commentator role now Sky have lost the coverage.

Barca red card (Lenglet) upon VAR review. Seemed incidental but his arm was raised although it could have been due to his momentum/trying to keep balance. Tough one as it didn’t look intentional imo.
