My table is here to help you, because the amount of Energy EPL fans are ready to spend to somehow prove that EPL is the best thing since sliced bread is astonishing, considering it isn't.
So you're saying the Mexican League is better?
Im honestly at a loss when those figures show the PL having almost 4x the viewing audience of La Liga but I'll leave it at that

Talking to you is like talking to a brick wall, but I'll try one last time.

The guy wrote "All world watches EPL" for the sole purpose of dismissing la liga and presenting EPL like the holy grail of football.

In order to dismiss his argument, I replied with the table that shows that in USA (for example) more people watch Mexican football.

Nothing more, nothing less.

Oh, and welcome to my ignore list. You really are a special case.

@PedroMendez :lol:

I Always cringe when Rami is playing, even though he is established in the Sevilla eleven, I never enjoyed what he brings to the team. He comes off as really clumsy. I am pessimistic, it will end 2-1 to La Real. What do you think?

Nor when West Ham drew with Liverpool and United away.
As repetitive as this argument gets, I doubt the Copa Del Ray revives this argument as you're trying to with the FA cup

Well Liverpool beat Watford, Stoke and Middlesbrough heavily too and all in last two months. Chelsea thrashed United, Everton and Leicester in the space of few weeks, Arsenal battered West Ham and Sunderland - these results happen in Premier League too.

Well that did not happen either when Barcelona dropped points to Celta, Malaga and Sociedad in the last two months, or when Atletico dropped points to a lot of teams, and both Barcelona and Atletico are a fair bit better than PL teams.

Upsets happen everywhere, they are less common in La Liga because Madrid and Barcelona are excellent.

Back in 2004-2008 they were losing games left, right and centre and teams like Valencia, Villarreal and Sevilla were in title races but nobody claimed then that La Liga is head and shoulders above Premier League because of its competitiveness, well because Premier League teams were killing it in Europe and it was common opinion that PL was the best. Even though it was strongly dominated by runaway champions Arsenal in 2004 and Chelsea in 2005 and 2006, and then only had two horse races between Chelsea and United before City appeared (with the odd Liverpool 2009 run).

It wasn't very competitive but it was VERY good and teams proves it in Europe yet now when the roles have turned, it is somehow more important that many teams are fighting for the league and European performances can be written off because, well, PL teams cannot compete there because they 1) don't care, 2) are too tired from exhausting PL games.

@SfcNervion The lineup looks good to me. I think we'll win despite la real being really strong. 3:1. Ben yedder with two goals!

edit: I kind of agree with you about Rami and at the same time I think that he is a bit underrated. Overall he is playing well despite being fairly limited. Given our options, I am happy that he is back.

Rami has the strength and pace to be a powerhouse in defence but lacks the brains.

Same thing with another French centre back Mexes in the past. Both were highly rated when younger but never developed their football brain enough to be a top level player.

Garcia Pitarch has finally resigned. I think that he resigned days ago and the club didn´t accept it, but yesterday Paco Roig, the former president (and brother of Fernando, Villarreal´s owner) said some tough stuff about the club http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/lal...al-desastre-con-todo-dolor-veo-muerto-5728805 . He wrote about Mendes, about players that are shit, blaming directly to García Pitarch and mocking about club not allowing him to leave.
I was sleeping so I couldn´t watch the beginning of Madrid match. Cristiano got a nice tribute, even Owen was there, and Ronaldo with some extra kilos

A real poacher's effort!

Blah, blah, blah, such greatness, such tecnique, such flair, such galactico, such artistry.

Guess what? No one cares. They are to busy watching the PL. Like the rest of the world.
:lol::lol:. Tbf, judging by the amount of money real madrid and barcelona make from the TV, i'd say people watch them too. Would be funny if united could sell their tv rights individually. Half the premier league's tv money comes from united

Don't think he realised that La Liga MX is the Mexican league not the Spanish one. It fooled a couple of us as well.

The OP wasn't about the Premiership being the most watched football league in the US? I thought the chart proved that and having been born & raised in the US myself, even anecdotally it's clear that the Premiership is not the most watched league in the US - although it clearly has the most money & marketing

2-0 to Sampaoli's team at HT. Sociedad have shoot themselves in the foot. Seville have just taken advantage of it.

Sevilla started off dodgy, La Real made one defensive error, Ben Yedder took advantage of it. Sevilla in control after 0-1. 0-2 felt perfect, we will need that distance for second half.

@PedroMendez All cred for your bet! Ice cold - just like Ben Yedder ;)

@Aboutreika18 I think you are spot on about Rami.

From foroche.
Menudo cachondeo de club... en las habitaciones de las casas de putas no pasan cosas tan raras como aquí...

3 shots, 3 goals for Seville. Sarabia 3-0.
Sarabia close again! Real Sociedad forgetting to defend today!

Sevilla the scout-masters and sporting director experts have a seriously massive squad.

Sevilla should be worried about losing Sampaoli this summer.I guess that they will find someone good too but would be a pity to lose him after only a season.

at least García Pitarch didn't have to travel to Singapur to resign. That quote is great,I thought that you meant forocoche.what is people writing in that forum?
So Prarek,do you see some solution?,is Voro finally staying? And is Zaza coming? I don't know if is exactly what Valencia needs right now.

Wow, never saw this coming. One of the most enjoyable 3 pointers of the season:)

@carvajal Rumours of Valverde going to Barcelona, but also Sampaoli is a name thrown in for possible takeover after Enrique. Think Sampaoli would fit them well, unfortunately, especially since he is working with Lillo. It will suck to see him leave, but it is like any other silly season.

No idea about Zaza really. They're just speculating, the usual stuff. I think in coming days things will be little clearer.
