Looks like Monaco have already got Martial's heir, talented player from the Monaco youth ranks that's breaking his way into the starting team, he's already been strongly linked with quite a few Prem teams.

Sounds like one of those French regens you get on Football Manager who turn out to be a 5 star player and ends up at Arsenal or Real Madrid

5 goals so far in Euro U19 (Joint top with teammate Augustin). Ronaldo goal celebration:

And article on him (French): http://rmcsport.bfmtv.com/football/...future-star-du-football-francais-1009590.html

Translation said:
Qualified for the final of Euro U19 with Blueberries, with a success against Portugal (3-1), he has left his mark with two goals and an assist, Kylian Mbappé, the prodigy striker AS Monaco, aged just 17 years and therefore already outclassed, has everything to become a rising star.

He outclassed in Blueberries

Principal architect of the course of the team of France U19 in the Euro in its class, which will play the final against Italy on Sunday night (20:30), Kylian Mbappé is ahead of its partners. At 17 and a half, he has already skipped a grade, after playing only two games with the U17 traffic. Result, the native of Bondy is 7 goals in as many appearances for the U19. It was he who offered the winning goal players Ludovic Batelli against Serbia in the Elite Tour in March for its third meeting only with his elders. And it was he who called the Bleuets for the final of Euro U19 therefore, by scoring twice against Portugal on Thursday after offering Ludovic Blas (Guingamp), also outperformed the first traffic goal after a great number in the box. Anecdotally, Kylian Mbappé, born on 20 December 1998 and was therefore in the womb of his mother when the France team was crowned world champion on July 12, more than a year and a half gap with Issa Diop (9 January 1997), the central defender and "big brother" of this selection.

He won the Gambardella

In addition to leading the team of France U19 in the final of Euro category, Kylian Mbappé has already conducted its partners towards a trophy. This season, in addition to its appearance in the professional group of AS Monaco, the tricolor prodigy has indeed taken the U19 French Riviera to final victory in Cup Gambardella against Lens (3-0). Curtain lifted the famous OM-PSG in the Coupe de France, Mbappé has thus offered a double, a habit now to raise a few minutes later cut the most prestigious category of young people in France. This is not nothing, and even then outclassed, it has evolved into team boss. If paying in passing a great time television interview to halftime with Daniel Lauclair , who had not recognized. Not destabilized, Kylian Mbappé will present himself to the camera. Last time we take it to another, certainly.

It is already professional

After a beginner course with AS Bondy, then a transition to the INF Clairefontaine, where her eldest, Thierry Henry has also matured before joining the Rock, the Ile prodigy was spotted by AS Monaco makes him join his training center in la Turbie. Three years later, on March 6, at 17 years and two months, he signed his first professional contract with the club from the Principality who was quick to make a proposal to his nugget that was already on the shelves of the PSG, Arsenal, Real or Bayern Munich. An early record for one who had visited the Chelsea plants to 11 years, and that of Real Madrid at 14, in front of Zinedine Zidane at the time, according to his father, Wilfried. It must be said that the family is sporty, since his father is precisely trainer Bondy, his uncle sports coordinator at Sedan while her mother is a former professional handball player. Incidentally, his brother by adoption, is none other than Jirès Kembo Ekoko, the former Rennes winger, with whom he is related. Professional, it can not be invented, and the kid will also take the oral its STMG Bac in September, not having been able to spend in July, the fault of the Euro.

He broke the record of Thierry Henry

Many people claimed to succeed Thierry Henry in the history of Monaco. Freshly out of the Riviera in just 22 years, international tricolor (123 caps, 51 goals), who is the best scorer of the Blues , was previously the earliest scorer of the Principality, with a doubling to 17 years and eight months in 1995 against Lens in First Division. And although it took 21 years to clear the record shelves. Kylian Mbappé and registered his first goal with AS Monaco February 20 denrier Ligue 1 side in Troyes, at 17 and 62 days exactly. A performance that necessarily accelerate negotiations with the club to sign his first contract, March 6, 15 days later.

He has played 11 games in Ligue 1

If it is not the earliest in this statistic compared to its France U19 team partners, although still a time he was the youngest after Ludovic Blas, Kylian Mbappé has experienced Ligue 1. he even played eleven games last season, plus two cup matches, having caught the eye of Leonardo Jardim in training. Sure it has benefited from the chronic inefficiency of Monaco attackers during the last year, but still, it has established itself as a luxury joker, offering even two tenure. His versatility, which could serve in the future, has for now been accumulated playing time on the wings. Although given his statistics, especially with blueberries (7 games, 7 goals), one wonders if it would not have no place in a point, if Augustine was not as good as him, or whether rather it is intended to play on the left as does Anthony Martial Manchester United.

Not the best translation but you get the picture.

He's a real talented kid. We (PSG) tried to steal him from his academy but they convinced him to sign his first pro contract for Monaco with a 1m sign-on fee.

Hat-trick tonight (apparently him speaking in the highlights):

Stat:

In 497 minutes against Ligue 1 teams, Mbappe has scored 6 goals and assisted 4 times. He also drew a penalty leading to a goal.

Yeah reading some of the comments the French guys on here made about him in various threads, he's going to be the real deal.

Martial, Dembele, Mbappe... Are France just going to churn out a top class young winger every season? :D

I also remember reading that before City were able to finalise a deal for Leroy Sane, they considered signing Mbappe. Edit: Oh, it's posted a few posts up.

Thomas Lemar has also been doing really well for them this season. Picked up from SM caen same as Kante.

On the topic of Mbappe/Monaco... They have 76 goals in 28 games! How? What the hell is going on there? 53 in 17 league games too.

No idea, but the only reason I've not been constantly losing all my bets this season is by blindly putting money on them

That's crazy, they suddenly started scoring twice as many goals as last season!

Today they scored 7 with their B team in the League cup.

If I find out that there isn't a chant to the tune of MMMbop for him, I don't think I can ever forgive Monaco.

Edit:

If there's any justice in the world, we'd sign him.

If a team doesn't make a song for him to M'bob by Hanson, that'll be a real missed opportunity.

Amount of attacking talent in France is straight up ridiculous.

Martial Mbappe Dembele

Imagine that as a front three in two years time for the French NT. And I haven't even included Coman.

We should put agent Pogba, Zlatan and Martial on this case, tap him up

Or Griezmann for that matter.

EDIT: I replied before I saw your edit, now it looks like I think we've signed Griezmann and he's going to tap up this fella.

Or Griezmann for that matter.

I had to find a way to include all the talents, so I actually forgot about him. Tells you something about how spoilt for options they are.

We should go all French for United, they can handle the cold and windy nights at Stoke, and you don't get the same amount of hassle from the two dodgy Spanish clubs that you do regarding the best Spanish players.

Wouldn't surprise me if Martial never became a regular for France.

Mbappe already looks much more developed at his age than Martial was and with others like the Dembeles, Lemar, Cornet, Augustin etc. coming through, wouldn't surprise if we got a retread of the "Why isn't Anderson playing for Brazil?" whining on the 'Caf.

Hell, we already saw that at the Euros with Martial.

Yeah, Monaco rejected that offer last summer.

The Monaco attacker signed a professional contract last March, meaning that his current deal with the Ligue 1 side runs until 2019.

I can't see Mourinho been in for him especially as we've got Rashford & Martial.

I think so. It would very surprising to acquire another French guy at a high price for a 3rd consecutive season.

Mbappe looks physically more robust than Martial but the latter is certainly faster.

Monaco are playing awesome football this season. This kid looks amazing.

Total score of 51-4. If they can keep this up, they should be a real test for City given Pep's win rate in UCL away games.

Mbappé is a real talent, he's amazing on FIFA as well after a few years.

He's a superior talent than Martial. So is Dembele for that matter.

Have you seen the look of the B team, they sent the C team to Leverkusen(they lost but it was still the C team), which french club does that?

Yes, some of the youngsters recruited last year start to make a real impact and the scoring threats are everywhere and their strength doesn't come from any specific individual, a real asset.

Interesting article (in French) about ASM attacking numbers: http://www.chroniquestactiques.fr/l...res-efficacite-reussite-comparaison-psg-17542

One of the impressive stats:

I'm currently watching Monaco's French Cup tie at Chambly (leading 0-2) and this kid has been lighting the place up as usual. Big contribution to both goals and he's been everywhere in the attack, and his control and touch are brilliant for a young speedster such as him.

Huge future, and that's not just based on tonight.

What type of player is he? Who would you compare him to?

Excellent talent. Where the hell does this insane young French generation come from? Bakayoko, Martial, Coman, Dembele, Mbappe, Laporte, Thomas Lemar, Mendy.
