£40m, do it Woody. Might even let them keep Costa for another season, so Chelsea might not get their elite striker this summer.
If we seriously want to live through times of playing brilliant football with intelligent and mobile midfield, I can't think of any better idea then just start taking actions in that direction. Before we go all out for Kroos we should try to sign him. Complete CM

Fans of this football club are very arrogant. They think that any player or manager will simply drop everything and join us on a whim, as if we are the pinnacle of football.
Zero chance we ever sign Koke.

He's universal. He can play everywhere. Mix him with Carvalho and we're good for the next 10 seasons.Only 22 aswell. Insanely talented. Just imagine how good he could be in 2-3 years. Better than Thiago or Kroos. Him and Gündogan are the biggest CM talents in the world
He won't be leaving Atleti, but my god what a player. He has an incredible engine and eye for the game. He is a complete midfielder, and only 22.
Thiago has more talent then all of them but koke is more of a complete and versatile player. Currently better then thiago, wouldn't say kroos though koke would suit us much better. Think thiago will end up being the best midfielder though, he's brilliant on the ball.Only 22 aswell. Insanely talented. Just imagine how good he could be in 2-3 years. Better than Thiago or Kroos. He has been immense today. Great passing, crossing, setpieces and defensive work ethic. Hit the post too.
Keep calm and let Big Dave handle this.
Is Koke the one that Barca have a first option on as part of that ridiculously low price for David Villa, or is it Oliver?

Like he handled ThiagOFF?
Jesus, you're the eternal optimist aren't you?Fans of this football club are very arrogant. They think that any player or manager will simply drop everything and join us on a whim, as if we are the pinnacle of football.

Atleti won't sell Koke just yet, they will probably sell Costa before him. Koke will probably leave in a couple of years for Barca! I would be shocked if not! I prefer him much more than Thiago or Kroos, I feel Koke could play in any system and would be equally good. Also a natural leader and Costa's bodyguard. Everytime Costa seems to be in trouble on the pitch Koke calms him down!
I also don't think he would be ideal for them in their current system, but they will have to adapt their system I think as they won't have another Xavi and Iniesta. Plus they might need more than just Torres, as Iniesta is also 30 and needs replacing in a few years and Koke is only 22.I think Barcelona will wait for O. Torres rather than go for Koke. Koke is incredibly similar to Fabregas. I might be a nutcase but genuinely don't think Barcelona will go for Koke.

Thiago definitely has it in him to play like that though, he just hasn't exactly been given the chance to do so. He was playing brilliantly for Bayern before his injury. Mentally there's nothing wrong with him. He doesn't lack the balls or whatever to get stuck in, or doesn't go missing in games, instead always looking to take charge and control the game.Thiago doesn't posses his mentality, which is much more important than talent. Koke is a fighter, down to earth, blessed with great talent. Thiago is a once in a generation type of talent, but he lacks the cojones of him. That's why I think Koke will be better. Look at the best CM performances in recent years. Koke today, Modric yesterday, Ramsey against Dortmund, Gündogan against RM. They all were sooo good because not only played they great football going forward, but they played like men having to fight for their lives.
Haven't seen Thiago, Kroos showing performances like that. Kroos passing was out of this world against Arsenal, but a complete performance like Luka Modric yesterday is something else.
A lot of history re-writing about the Thiago saga. When he signed for Bayern the reports were that we had never made contact with him or his agent. I remember even direct quotes from Thiago saying he's never spoken with us. Now people are saying the reports were that Moyes pulled the plug on the deal and its his fault. I'd love to see the quotes from Moyes or the executives or the board about that. joke recently said he won't leave Atleti, he says you aren't picked to play for Atleti, you are born to play for Atleti.
Iniestas game relies on hardly any physical attributes. I'd imagine he will be around for a good few years yet.
But they may go for Koke it's true.
Koke is also one if the fittest players ever. He never gets injured. Never stops running, plays every game, today was his 58th game of the season. Whereas Thiago gets injured every 3 months and is then out for 2-3 months.
Yep and Mata played 75 last season altogether (including internationals). But not every player is that fit. We don't have one currently, do we? Becks and Ronaldo were very fit and almost never got injured. Koke also covers 10 - 12 kms on average per game. Its not that unusual these days. Oscar played 60 odd games for Chelsea in his first season.

Of couse! They come close. How could I forget themNowhere near id say . Off the top of my head Carrick and Evra have probably played the most in the current side
