6ft 1. Not massive for a keeper. How tall is he?

Well the positive thing about the Romero blooper is that we have caught it before the end of the window. Imagine we had another clean sheet and then against Liverpool he lets a couple of howlers in, LVG would have to go crawling to Valdes, if he stays. Its no wonder hes never been a first team regular throughout his 'illustrious' career.Would have saved the 2nd goal, i could ebt my house on it. At least if he was up for it, like the weekend for Real.
Explore what? Fact is there is only one keeper that would be an improvement/on par with DDG in the world. No one coming in would have matched up to him, so I'm not understanding your point?Well, perhaps we could have explored that had we not refused to sell until the last day.

Well if we sold DDG for £30 without Navas, then I think people would accept that. But considering we have Navas too, I'm not sure why it is such a mess like you say. I think it'd a good deal all things considered.De Gea wasn't 'De Gea Standard' when he joined. We are basically trying to get anyone who is better than Romero in. Navas is better, fine, but no-one would say he any more than a solution for this season only.
From what I've seen of him, which admittedly isn't very much, I'm pleased. I don't see the need to go for a new goalkeeper to be completely honest. Especially having just bought Casilla aswell.
All the english reports are saying it.Any reports saying he is included in De Gea deal though?
Spectacular and with good reflexes,it would be a great choice

Imagine we had got Cillessen in and not Navas. Theres no-one out there we could have got even if we had sold DDG last month. DDG is probably in the top 3 keepers in the world. Navas is a far better alternative to anyone we could have got in.Explore what? Fact is there is only one keeper that would be an improvement/on par with DDG in the world. I read some comments elsewhere from Madrid supporters who feel the exact way you do. What's gonna happen if Dave doesn't hit the ground running? Won't fans be pissed off? From what I've seen of him, which admittedly isn't very much, I'm pleased. I don't see the need to go for a new goalkeeper to be completely honest. So everyone panicked about Cilessen but we have people panicking over Navas.Seriously... Let him stay where he is. He is dog doo doo... I'd rather we get that Dutch kid. The man punches everything. If there is one thing i've learnt about LVG. He can't pick a good keeper for shit.
He was one of the best performing keepers in La Liga during the 13/14 season. Courtois was perhaps the only keeper better than him that campaign. He should have played over Casillas last season IMO but like Madrid have shown with Raul, Guti and Casillas amongst others, they have a tendency to keep playing their legends well past their expiry date. He had a strong World Cup and played a very good game at the weekend there too. It is hard to say for sure how good he is now because he hasn't played much in the past year (even though he should have played over Casillas last season IMO) but if he can still perform regularly like he did in 13/14 and at the last World Cup then he is a very good shot-stopper (although claiming crosses and dominating his area is not his strong point so perhaps not ideal for the Premier League).

Have you even watched him play? Hes a very good keeper and an upgrade on what we have and that includes Valdes.Seriously... Let him stay where he is. He is dog doo doo... he made some penalty saves. excellente.
That's one of the most important aspects of goalkeeping skills in the Premiership. I'm already panicking.if he can perform like he did in 13/14 and at the last World Cup then he is a very good shot-stopper (although claiming crosses and dominating his area is not his strong point so perhaps not ideal for the Premier League).
A wheelchair user would have moved quicker than RomeroHe would have been all over Gomis well before he would get that pass for Swansea's 2nd goal.

DDG was pretty poor when he first started but he learnedThat's one of the most important aspects of goalkeeping skills in the Premiership. I'm already panicking.
He's far better at it then Romero though so it's still an improvement in every way (though obviously a huge downgrade on dave). That's one of the most important aspects of goalkeeping skills in the Premiership. I'm already panicking.

Camera's what?Yeah... He punches everything and makes saves for camera's.
Yes but at least he makes saves and means we don't spend any money on a GK and overpaying excessively. Romero as first choice is woeful at best.Yeah... He punches everything and makes saves for camera's.
Just saw the video. You're right it's concerning. His propensity to punch rather than catch could be an issue in the PL
Handling crosses will come with coaching, DDG was crap at it at first, too. That's one of the most important aspects of goalkeeping skills in the Premiership. I'm already panicking.
