Is this true?
If he regains his fitness, I think it's an absolute certainty that we're going to sign him eventually, to be honest.
When he signed, didn't both he and United donate an equivalent to what would have been an agents fee to charity?Van Gaal doesn't have an Agent.
To be fair that team is more then good enough, individual wise, to win the champions league even. Especially with the depth we have. Getting them all settling in and playing well is the only question but on paper it's as good of a front 6 as anyone has pretty much.------------Falcao-------------

Too risky, no telling if he'll be the same player as before. Is there any reason why we are waiting to get him in January instead? Wouldn't it be better for us to have just bought him now and get him over while we handle his recovery. He could start training with our team earlier and start playing for us as soon as he's fit.

ACL injuries are not the end of the world these days. His speed may not even be hugely compromised (although it may take about 12 months to get back to top speed). Its mostly quick stops and pivots that may bring up lingering effects
The discount for a shorter contract would hardly matter considering the premium for transfers in January, we'll arguably get a cheaper price now since he's still injured. It still makes more sense to buy him in January. He'll be slightly cheaper because he'll be on a slightly shorter contract and we get to assess his recovery.
for those who watched him regularly, then how good is this strootman actually? who would you likened him with the most, i mean in terms of quality and playing style.
He's not the type of player that depends on his pace though, doubt his injury would affect him as much as a player like Walcott.Too risky, no telling if he'll be the same player as before.
Obviously not quite what you were asking for but here's a vid of his season at Roma to give you some idea.

That's what I heard too, in fact I think that it's LVGs charity. When he signed, didn't both he and United donate an equivalent to what would have been an agents fee to charity?
40 minute vid of his season at Roma, as definitive as it gets if you're interested in getting to grips with his talents.
Definitely would be an excellent addition, really does come down to how he recovers from the knee injury.
BlindHe'd be the perfect player if we go 433.
