MANCHESTER United received some good news with regards their chase for to PSV transfer target Kevin Strooman.
PSV are lining up a replacement for the midfielder as they prepare for life without him.
Holland international Strooman has been a breath of fresh air to the Eredivisie, earning praise for his performances following his move from Utrecht to PSV.
He is valued at £14m, and could be a welcome addition to Manchester United who are looking to freshen up their midfield.
Sir Alex Ferguson had been monitoring Strooman for some time, but now a move seems to be on the cards.
The United manager was close to making a move for Strooman in the summer transfer window, but plumped for Robin Van Persie and Shinji Kagawa in the end.
Now with the January transfer window Ferguson will reignite the chase for the Dutchman.
