I don't see the Milner-face resemblance, personally. I think he looks more like if Robin Van Persie injected steroids directly into his cheekbones.

His face is already at a great level, but I think he could go on to have one of the best faces in the world.

I don't really care either way, Fábregas has a weird face while Thiago and Strootman are both beautiful in their own charming way. That settles it for me.
 
It's the longish face and massive chin that reminds me of Milner. Human evolution might be moving in that direction, in 50 years, all the kids will have a case of the Milner-face. :nervous:

That's the funny thing, isn't it? Strootman to United might be the first twitter-story. There's been very little outside twitter (and those claimed he'll be signing at the start of June...). I'm shocked to see he's not at United yet...
 
I wonder if it's our fallback for Thiago, although they are seemingly different types of players...
 
That's the thing, if we miss out on Thiago then we'll have to settle for someone with significantly less potential/ability - providing Gundogan etc. are happy where they are.

The fact that he's dutch and left-footed should leave us in no doubt as to the wisdom of this signing. The thought of him and Thiago playing just ahead of Carrick is a fantastic prospect. Funnily enough if these signings do materialize, suddenly the flanks become our main area of weakness.

Thiago would be more suited to partnering Carrick than Strootman. Strootman would basically be a means to rotate Carrick for a change and when we use three man midfields, and eventually take over from him.

O please... Thiago is a perfect partner for Carrick Strootman is just an understoody. It like signing a No 2 goalkeeper.
