Music Kendrick Lamar

I've just realised his album is out tomorrow. I must've missed the hype around this, quieter release than Q's album it seems?!

I didn't enjoy Ab Soul's These Days... but I get what he was trying to do. It's his own rendition on rap these days, though I find it sad that he has to go down that route.

Isaiah Rashad still on top with his release, but King Kendrick will change that.

Kendrick better be in the studio 24/7 and not come out until his new album is better then Section 80 and m.A.A.d City combined. Although i am craving some nw music of his he doesnt need to rush to stay relevent.

Disappointed with the new Kendrick song. Sounds a bit like Love Game.

His feature on Jeezy's song was much better.

It's not a bad song, I see myself liking it as part of an album. Unusual to have as his first single, but then again he's raised eyebrows before with pre-released tracks... I remember Backstreet Freestyle was met with ridicule before it was heard within the album.

I actually liked it, it's something fresh and new as per usual from K.Dot. Props to the producer too, it's the same guy who made 'Stigmata' for Ab, it's fantastic.

New Jay Rock. Love his flow on this.

King Kendrick's verse is apparently a Drake diss:
It looks like Kendrick Lamar might've reinvigorated his feud with Drake during a guest verse on Jay Rock's "Pay For It." The "i" rapper fired the first shot last summer in his controversial verse on Big Sean's "Control," calling out Drake (and pretty much the rest of the rap game), and kept things going at that year's BET Hip-Hop Awards. For his part, Drake responded in an interview at New York University by subtly dissing Lamar, saying "when it comes to competition, I'm more worried about consistency, about bodies of work."

Though things cooled down afterwards, K-Dot's "Pay For It" verse seems to indicate renewed hostilities. "Been dissecting your motormouth until I break down the engine," he raps, a reference to Drake's name for himself in "The Language." "See my opponent then, cease your existence / Endin' our friendship, baby, I'd rather die alone," he continues. Harsh words.

Earlier this month Young Money's resident shit-stirrer, Tyga, revealed that he doesn't "like Drake as a person," so yeah, it's been a rough month for Drizzy.

(Control verse wasn't aimed at Drake.)

He's got 4/5 songs with George Clinton in the stash too, I think this next album is going to be funky as feck.

I don't know if this will be on the album, but I really liked it.

Good Kid was one of my top 5 hip hop albums of all time. Really looking forward to the next one.

According to Walmart the king will drop his new album in less than a week...

Incredible that this tune's completly different to 'i' and both of those tracks bring a really, really strong message with them, fantastic job again. Can't wait for his album, he's a fecking goat.
