Indeed with the only indication of any interest in him being because he spoke to him after the Europa League Final, complete with picture and all
That's your assumption.

I know it's the Mirror, but Darren Lewis also linked us with the player two days agoNo I read the article in the OP, it's fact

"Mourinho is interested in Ajax winger Justin Kluivert. Kluivert is ready to turn down a new deal which would make him the highest paid player at his club following interest from the Reds.
The player’s agent, Mino Raiola, however, is ready to entertain offers this summer."
This is a solid policy.I ignore the Mirror in general. Not a quality source imo.
True, I suppose it's not a bad decision from his POV. However, if the club's goal is to develop players rather than do what Chelsea does, I don't see how we'll keep everyone happy. I'd prefer we focused on the good group of academy talents we have coming through. That, and the fact that I don't think he's shown to be that amazing a talent. The point in leaving Ajax would be obviously a better contract. He'd not be the first player from the lesser leagues to come and go straight on loan.
AFAIK some of the Mirror jurnos are "okayish", like john Cross (for Arsenal), Simon Mullock (for City), Dave Mcdonnell (for United) and Darren Lewis (for Spurs). We shouldn't ignore everything from the Mirror (or the Mail).I ignore the Mirror in general. Not a quality source imo.

No, that would make sense for United and Kluivert but not for us. It's against our business model. Can we just sign him and let him stay on a loan in Ajax for another year, and we don't get rid of Martial?
Any suggestions ?

Could just as likely be Leipzig with Lookman probably returning to Everton in the summer.
Allardyce won't be at Everton next season. Relax.I really hope he is but he was treated like shite by Allardyce and is loving his time in Leipzig so I wouldn't be surprised if he left.
He doesn't seem very highly regarded. What makes it obvious that were signing him?https://nos.nl/artikel/2230665-van-der-sar-ziet-kluivert-vertrekken-huntelaar-tekent-bij.html
We are signing him, aren't we.
SessegnonIf Martial is leaving then I want us to sign a young winger. Sanchez is the right age to allow us to do this and bring through a youngster.
can't really win on here. If we don't sign a young talented player on the cheap, we blame Mourinho. When we look like we will, couldn't pay someone to find a positive. Give me strength.
When has this happened?
Keep Mourinho away from this kid.
