Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

All that guff about Liverpool's Champions League DNA pre-match from Klopp, it's certainly in his DNA to lose Cup Finals isn't it.

Why couldn't he have come to United and not fecked off to Liverpool. Would love to see him in charge of a proper big team.
I guess you're joking. People like Klopp's attacking style but it is precisely that which loses him finals. The manager we have can organise a defence and it is precisely that which wins him finals.

I fecking hate him. So good to see him lose yet another final.

He would lose the Europa League and League Cup final. Sound familiar?

Stolen from Twitter...

He’s dodging all the trophies
He’s never gonna stop
He’s a trophy dodger
And his name is Jürgen Klopp

I hope it catches on and stays relevant for years.

He's failed all over Europe,
He's never gonna stop.
He's lost six feckin finals,
His name is Jurgen Klopp.

When he lost the Europa League final what happened a year later in that competition?

Oh it's on

He deserves critism for his signing Karius. This Keeper shouldn't be even in any Premier league side and he still insist he is good.

How many years are they trying to replace Mignolet?

Klopp has a fairly simple summer ahead. Hold on to Salah, sign a top keeper, and get Keita in.
Fekir to replace Coutinho and a CB would be good. I’d sell Ings and replace him with Origi as he’s done well on loan in Germany.

The reason why he's pissed out of his mind in that clip is because he's been told he's stuck with Karius. How else can you explain the comments he's given about him?

To be fair, all his signings have been fairly good bar Karius. All managers sign hits and duds.

Unfortunately for Klopp, the only dud he signed ended up costing him the biggest prize.

It remains to be seen if salah can keep up with his form though. At this point he's a one season wonder until he proved otherwise.

I was skeptical ronaldo could maintain his 42 goals tally, but he proven me wrong. Salah hasnt proven anything yet apart from this wonderful season.

I find it hard for him to emulate this season since teams will start taking him seriously.

He won't keep up the scoring, but even if he knocks in 30 next year (instead of 44) he will still be one of the two (if not the) best players in the league.

Classic case of tactically limited coach with charisma, earning a great reputation first and foremost because of his mood and clowning, not because of ability. This happens all over the world ar regular working environments as well. A happy, charismatic and positive person will be promoted over the next one, first and foremost based on happy nature instead of actual ability and intelligence.

That's Klopp at Liverpool for three years and Pochettino at Spurs for four years, none of them have won a fecking trophy - still their threads are on top of this forum every week.

He’s only been able to spend a third of that because we sold Coutinho.

Is that number even correct?

Van Dijk - £75 million
Salah - £35 million
Mane - £34 million
Matip - Free
Klavan - £5 million
Robertson- £8 million
Chamberlain £35 million
Karius - £4 million
Wijnaldum £25 million

That’s £221 million. Keita doesn’t count because he hasn’t kicked a ball for us yet.

A genuine question to Liverpool fans.

How long would you put up with klopp if he doesn’t win anything?

They'd be idiots to sack him unless he goes mental and really drops off.

They were winning feck all before him, and their football wasn't anywhere near as good. They won't attract anyone better.

Don’t underestimate football fans mate. We live in a time when Leicester sacked their league winning manager.

That’s why the question of how long they can put up with this. Everything has a tipping point

They might attract a winner though.

I hope we also get to face a much weaker opponent than Madrid in the final, so that Klopp gets to say a version of his 'They played Ajax, we played Sevilla, that's the difference'.

Liverpool would be daft to sack Klopp. He's clearly making progress and except for Karius () his buys have been very good.

Question to Liverpool supporters: is it the board or DoF that decides transfers or is it Klopp? Who gets credit?

I think there’s still a committee with Klopp having the final say, like there was under Rodgers.

Admittedly he sort of stumbled on Salah as a second or third choice target based on what I read last summer. I think he wanted Julian Brandt as his first choice.

He needed to bring Mane to the right hand side.
Marcelo was completely free to do what he wanted after Salah and the press disappeared.

He did. Mane right, Lallana left after the substitution.

I’m not a Liverpool fan, obviously, but I know that it’s Klopp who signs the players that turn out to be a success and The Committee that are credited with the bad purchases.

Taking someone else’s quote, I forget who, Klopp is a specialist in failure.
It’s time that Liverpool fans lowered their expectations. What have they won in the last 10 years? 1 league cup? Maybe they should concentrate on winning something like that for now.
Horse for courses and all that

He’ll spend even more money this summer, flop again, and we’ll get even more excuses next summer.

How is that an excuse? Those are the numbers we’ve spent on players under Klopp, not what that Tweet said.
