Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

That continued partnership with StanChart will be his undoing. There's no way Liverpool will win the CL now. The man talked about United being a commercial club while Liverpool also gets a lot of money through commercial and sponsorship. His "Disneyland" statement was as fake as his new teeth.

Jesus. The man is such a hypocrite. It's beyond embarrassing. First the Pogba money nonsense then going way over the top for VVD now this (and everything in between).

Just be quiet a bit more Jürgen. You'd look less of an idiot.

He knows Liverpool fans lap it up, so he just comes up with this bs.

The Times are on their knees for him this week too. (via Paul Joyce - our North of England, but mainly Liverpool, Liverpool & Liverpool, Football Correspondent)

Apparently Jurgen is all about ''not making things bigger than they are'' and this is one of his central management philosophies. It is. Honest.

It feels like the guy has peaked this season with Salah’ form, and he’ll probably still end up winning feck all.

Since Jose has taken over United, United and Liverpool have won about the same number of points: 151 Liverpool vs 150 United. Given that Liverpool have a worse squad and less money, Klopp has done well.

Very honest post. I respect that. I really wouldn't want most of the Liverpool team here. How they play the football they do is a great testament to good coaching and tactics. Especially, when it seems like coaching and tactics are our greatest hindrance.

He's insufferable. Can't stop talking about our club. Feck off you clown.
Maybe we should look deeper. Maybe we are too commercialized. With what Woodward has said recently about success doesn't necessarily impact attracting revenue I am not so sure those higher up really are valuing footballing success over the commercial. I don't think it's the Red Bull clubs that Klopp was referencing either because they don't sign superstars. They have a footballing model based upon unearthing and developing young players. Developing players won't really attract mega commercial deals.

Maybe Klopp should look deeper and not be a hypocrite.

I like klopp alot. He gets players to perform above their own level, which is the sign of a great manager. I like how he took the liverpool challenge. The club was in a downward spiral and he turned it around. Also, contrary to what you would think after reading this thread, he does not passionately hate United. I can not get myself to dislike.

From the season before last. They have played and looked like average players. They have not developed. In fact the more Rashford and Lingard have played this season the worse they have looked. They'd be better players under Pep and Klopp.
Liverpool and City do not put the same amount of focus on promoting talent from their academy. They wouldn't exist in the same way. Stop talking rubbish.

Missing my point once again. Playing players and developing them are two different things. We don't have the balance right to be successful. Pep, pochettino and Klopp are better at developing young players. I don't believe trent alexander-arnold is superior to Shaw. In fact I doube he's superior talent wise to borthwick-jackson

We are focused on having some youth players in our squad but how many have we developed? I disagree about Liverpool not focusing on promoting talented youngsters. They haven't produced smiliar quality players but their focus is no less intense. As for City with pep and txiki man city will start producing quality youth team members. Playing and developing players are two different things. I am sorry but jose is not that person. Klopp, pep and pochettino are better and would be better handling Shaw, lingard and Rashford. The only way that jose will be successful for us is to have ready made players. Not developing ones like Shaw, Martial and Rashford. There's no way trent Alexander Arnold and Andy Roberts are more talented than Shaw and borthwick-jackson. In fact borthwick-jackson should've been held unto after the season he had under Van Gaal and Darmian let go but jose has a thirst for experience that at times is irrational. Then again, He wouldn't know how to develop borthwick-jackson anyway.

He's such a hypocritical bellend . Either he just talks shit because he knows the scousers will lap it up or he really believes the nonsense he spouts which would be incredible.

Every club does what we do, we just happen to do it better. Gotta laugh at the guy taking a dig while doing videos announcing partnerships for Pool.

Then again, this is the same bellend that said he'd walk away from football if he ever had to spend money on a player like we did when we signed Pogba but there he is spunking cash on VVD and Keita.

He's just a cnut.

Your posts seem all about the preconceived ideas you have in your head rather than what's happening in real life.

Iheanacho vs Rashford was the debate in rage 2yrs back. All the talk was about how these 2 guys will be developed by the managers with Iheanacho backed by most to reach a different level working with Pep while rashford gets wrecked under mourinho. We know how that turned out. Ditto with some of the best talents at City leaving the club because they don't think Pep is going to give them a chance. But yeah, lets stick with your narrative instead of what's actually happening.

Mind you, I don't even think Jose is great with developing kids, just that the narrative that Pep is all that is absolute bollocks given what's actually happening. Praising Klopp for it is weird too unless he's going to be praised to the moon for playing 2 FBs in which case again, Jose has done as much if not better.

Btw, turning the argument around by saying playing kids and developing them are 2 different things is a convenient route to take so that we can debate hypotheticals which no one has a clue about ignoring the proof in front of our eyes.

Both Klopp and Pep are the biggest hypocrites out there, Klopp and his ‘pure’ doing it the right way bullshit and Pep with his human rights yellow ribbon, while taking the Abu Dhabi dollar.
Knobheads.

Except if either of them were managing Utd, they would be the best thing since sliced bread.

I like to think the only reason he goes on about the offside goal and all is because it's Manchester United. He should be making mild jabs, it's good fun.

Would dread to think what people would make of shanklys "If Everton were playing at the bottom of the garden, I’d pull the curtains" if it was delivered today.

To be fair I'd agree with Shankly on that one, they are shite.

Neither Pep nor Klopp is better than Jose in football management. Maybe an arguement can be made for Pep but certainly not Klopp.

They must have been in a coma for the past 3 months because half the united fanbase don't even like our own manager.

Fair enough. We get annoyed because it comes across as bitter (and our manager wouldn't get away with it!) but banter is a good part of the game.

We'll be giving it large if Real win  and logging off if they don't :(

What's that now, 1 win and 6 losses in finals?

If we're talking about a specialist in failure...

Can't fault him today but he is a serial loser and people think he will be remembered more than Jose. Feck that

How many finals has he lost now? fecking mug!

It's funny that they lost everything, but he got that Liverpool team to a CL final. Can't really criticise him tbh

pretty much blew their once in a decade final/trophy chance.

madrid dominant. Almost felt like just a regular league match for them. The dippers started off strong but their lack of depth and quality outside of salah showed.

klopp better pray that salah stays fit and in form next season. Going to be difficult with him going to the WC assuming his shoulder can be fixed.
