Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

They're both seeded or something. Can't play each other but still - it would be beautiful if that fecking clown didn't qualify.

I can't believe I liked him before he went to Liverpool. Jeez
It will be great especially since they would still bang on about qualifying by coming 4th to get eliminated in the qualifier is still better than winning the Europa Cup and gaining direct entry into the groups.

If he'd be the United manager, you would love him. No doubt.

Obviously.

Cue a load of people shouting they never fancied him.

But there's actual proof that a considerable percentage did fancy him at various points. And if he had been appointed, he would've been vocally supported by a huge majority on here - of that there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever.

Most people would've found a way to defend his über cringy celebration of a point against...whoeveritwas too. And they would've lapped up his recent EL comment, not least. United fans in general didn't think much of the EL until we won it - unsurprisingly. Tables turned and it would've been delusional scousers hailing a second class trophy all the way.

Just imagine if we hadn't faced Barca in those cl finals, what a load of bollox, I loved the guy and was hoping we'd get him but Christ has the scouse soaked into him, complete fecking clown.

I don't think anyone thinks that much of the EL even now we have won it. It's a route to the CL and a half decent trophy.

I'd like to think if he was our manager (or anybody else's really) the delusional victim mentality wouldn't have gotten to him so much.

To be fair Mourinho isn't any less cringeworthy when he complains that everyone in world football is out to get him and his team (every other week), and roughly 70% on here defend him when he does too. It's just as small time as Klopp complaining about stronger competition. I know this won't be popular, but I think in certain ways the two are very much like one another. I still think Mourinho is the better manager, though.

I really don't understand his comment about Sevilla and Ajax, you can only play who is in front of you.

To present an alternative scenario, look at the West Ham we played in the penultimate game of the 15/16 season compared to the West Ham they played in the penultimate game of the 16/17 season. Could easily say if we played the 16/17 version of WHU we would have qualified for last seasons CL and if Liverpool played the last ever game at the Boleyn, they wouldn't have qualified for this seasons CL.

Klopp should really look at that but what he should do firstly, is brush his teeth.

Yep - which is, I would say, fair enough. Or - how it should be, really. It's what football fans do: Even LVG had the majority on here behind him for a relatively long time.

There are few traits in a manager that can't be taken as "lovable" in a "he's our cnut" kind of way, after all.

Personally, I find myself getting less and less tribal, for lack of a more precise term, the older I get. But taking the piss out whoever's in charge of Liverpool is obviously something I still enjoy to a fair degree - might as well pull the plug on the whole "fan" thing the day I don't.

He said that Chelsea and Liverpool will find it this season tougher than last season due to having European commitments.

So is Mourinho suggesting Liverpool will finish 6th as a result? We all know who likes finishing 6th (and two Mickey mouse watches). :)

Two Micky Mouse watches are better than no watches :)

No need for the personal comments against Klopp though... Bit unpleasant imo.

Agreed. Thought he was hilarious in a good way watching him in CL interviews, but now he's hilarious for other reasons. Was worried when he arrived, now I'm more than pleased.

Can we get a full list of all of is excuses/hypocrisy?

Off the top of my head there's -

Too many games
Not enough games
Christmas games (because only Liverpool play multiple games over Christmas)
Dry/hard surface (at Anfield)
Windy stadium (also at Anfield IIRC)
League cup should be abolished (after going all out to win it twice)
Sevilla/Ajax
Plymouth entire population in the box
Long balls (then played long ball against relegation fodder the next game)
Not enough money (then bids crazy amounts for VVD & Keita
That offside

I know there's more. Seems he can't open his mouth without spewing out excuses, hypocrisy and just general bullshit.

I still think this one is the funniest. He brought it up for months and months afterwards, as if no other teams have fallen foul of bad offside calls and that made all the difference to Liverpool's season.

Especially since the corner that they got the penalty from in the same game came from Lallana being in an offside position and forcing Rojo to put it out for a corner.

Funnier still it wasn't the shot that was "offside", it was the assist.
It wasn't even the fecking assist.

Valencia crossed it about 40 seconds before Ibra actually put the ball into the net. There was another cross and a Fellaini header after the incident.

Haha I couldn't even remember - that's even more tragic

It's amazing how this guy has gone from a sense of "ahh it's impossible not to like this guy", to "this guy is an absolute tool".

The last Liverpool managers I can remember not absolutely despising, were Hodgson and Houllier.

To be honest, Brendan Rodgers seems like an alright dude.

Can't help but feel for him after getting the sack at Liverpool.

By the way it seems to really wind Liverpool fans up by saying that Rodgers was better than Klopp. It's funny because it's actually true. Rodgers got them second and challenging for the title. Klopp has been there nearly 3 seasons now and some of their fans will still say "It's not his squad"

He was an absolute douche!
What moments stand out for you in particular? Sure he seemed to think he was better than he actually was but I don't remember him ever making excuses or talking about United as much as Klopp does.

He also didn't play up to the cameras and constantly harass the officials like Klopp does. But apparently that's "passion" for you...

The inside Liverpool doc was a particular high point.
Comments like "death by football".
General demeanour thinking they were going to win the league.
I'm sure there was a whole thread with extras too.

Klopp is clearly a lot worse though.
Which is strange, as often there's a "threat to us" ranking which makes them more hateable, hence Hodgson not even showing a glimmer on the scale.

I'd list all excuses Mou's ever uses, but I dont think there's enough space on the internet.

Klopp manages Liverpool therefore he sucks. Im sure its fun bashing Liverpool, but it's a bit small time. United should be much bigger than Liverpool. And so should their fans.

No one mention to him the state of the teams Liverpool faced on their runs to the European Cup in 77' and 78'.

Pointless post? Yes, but so's his comment.

Don't think Utd fans claims Mou does not whine a lot.

I seriously hope they get put out of CL qualifiers.

I would prefer if they got trashed in the group stages.
That way they get more matches, and they'll see how weak their squad is when they get more injuries and players get tired.

Them going out in the qualifiers though means they drop into the Europa League. So they'll still play the same amount of games but in the domestic season destroying Europa League.

Hopefully in a group with Ajax and Ajax doing the double!

Mind you hopefully we can see Klopp celebrate winning the drawing with Debrecen cup!

Yeah, obviously!
I forgot that bit.
And then lose the final to Genk or Copenhagen.

Celebrating the draw, then lose on penalties after.
