Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

He's an absolute wanker. Would love to see him feck off out of the league.
Hopefully after another trophy less season. He's been there for two seasons now and won jack shit. He should keep his mouth shut and worry about his own team.

Serious question, is there a sect inside Liverpool's club that over time starts changing your personality, habits and moral ? I swear I did like Klopp when he was at Dortmund.

He's always been a cnut. A lot of us pointed that out when he joined them but it got lost among the general fawning over him.

Yes, I am convinced. It's in the water there. Everyone bar Hodgson started seeing visions.

Hopefully Mourinho responds to Klopp's comments and exposes him for the pathetic whiny little bitch he is.

No, it's just that some of you lot react extremely irrational re: anything Liverpool. It's become worse since United has fallen into disarray.

Klopp was slated here for some seriously funny remarks and I just though "wtf how could you use that against him".

Mou is officially in his head

As the poster said a couple of pages back, I really don't get the fuss. Modern day Kevin Keegan.

He's showing signs he's feeling a bit too much pressure than he is used to or can handle.

Either that or he's just a dickhead.

Well yeah, but they're acting like Sevilla are fecking Barcelona. They're an average side, that if Liverpool had of not been completely shite, and lacking any sort of plan B, would have seen them off quite easily. But they didn't, because they're overrated tripe.
Sevilla had won the competition two years running before don't forget, they're no minnows either. Liverpool weren't favourites by any stretch.

Liverpool fans keep on saying "You would love Klopp at United".... based on what?

Why would we want the German Brendan Rodgers when we have fecking Mourinho? Fair enough if we had David Moyes. We'd take anyone over him.

So you think it was correct for him to moan about our europa league victory when the question was not even remotely related to what he was originally asked.

Imagine of jose had said that, media would have had a field day.

Just for the opposition. If he'd be the United manager, you would love him. No doubt.
Not sure about that. He hasn't won anything in years and shows no signs of winning anything either.

I think he's a twat, but let's face it he doesn't threaten so why would we want him if we are striving to be successful? He's a good manager for the smaller teams and underdogs to a degree but he has no business managing a team that wants to win it all.

He really is perfect for them though. He doesn't win, they don't win, they don't care because they have each other. He has tons of "personality", but to most level head Football fans he's just a small time whiny excuse maker - "it was windy", "the grass..", "we play too many games" to "we don't play enough games", "they play long ball" then plays long ball. That's their fan base to a T.

I think they are still in the honeymoon period but I think this time next season he will be under the sort of pressure Rodgers was under when they finally turned on him and realized his limitations. They love Klopp because they think he's the best manager they can get, shit they think he's the best manager in the World BUT the longer they have him they miss out on finding the next gem. Then again, there may be something to that "something in the water at Anfield" theory and even the elite managers go tits up there.

In hindsight, Klopp was on top of the world in 2013.

Now he's slagging off a great (historically) european side like Ajax. It's a bizarre fall he's taken since the CL final against Bayern.

Seriously how many of us thought he was going to be managing fecking Liverpool of all teams?

No Liverpool fans have said that in this thread...

incredibly small time of Klopp. He's got a lot to prove this year and i think the media honeymoon is over.

He has a point, Ajax was an easier opposition than Sevilla and Sevilla could have beaten us as well. But feck me if this comment isnt cringe-worthy.

Jose is master of cup finals, Klopp isn't. That's the difference.

Can't bother to look past this page but I doubt many, if any, Liverpool posters have said that.

You can't expect United fans to be rational about Liverpool or vice versa. It's a proper rivalry after all. However, Klopp does say some absolutely ludicrous things from time to time and it's great comedy. It would be a waste not to enjoy it.

It's more the German fans who are pushing that point of view.

Yeah and we could've lost to Southampton in the EFL Cup final like Liverpool lost to them in the EFL Cup semi. Difference is we have Jose and they have Klopp. Jose makes history, Klopp makes excuses. Both at the perfect clubs for their respective mentalities.

To be fair to Pool, they probably had the toughest run any club has ever had to the Europa League final, whilst United's was maybe the easiest I've seen. Still embarrassing as feck for a manager to say it.

Yeah I agree, him saying it looks like excuse making.

so? The fact of the matter is Utd won the cup they couldn't. He should have been in the game long enough to know it's all about results, nothing else
And the fact that they lost and we won doesn't make our achievement so much better. Consider the following scenario: 1. Real Madrid get to the CL semi-final after beating Nice and Roma in the previous rounds and lose there to Juventus. 2. We draw Barcelona in the CL Ro16 and go out. Was Real Madrid's season much better than ours because they got a lot further in the CL? I would say no. In the same way I wouldn't gloat about us doing so much better in the EL when they had a much more difficult run.

I appreciate Klopp's ability to build teams who play good attacking football. When it comes to actually winning stuff there is not anyone I would have above Mourinho. His handling of the last stages of our season last year was terrific.

Never really posted in here but those comments are a joke. I bet Rawk are loving it though.

It's not like Ajax was randomly chosen to play in the final. Over the tournament teams like Roma Lyon Spurs Besiktas Bilbao zenit Villarreal shaktar schalke moenchengladbach (among others) were knocked out in various rounds by various teams.

It's like saying Portugal are useless for losing to Greece in 2004 euro finals. On a standalone basis Greece may be worse than Portugal but their form had seen the Greeks win over the likes of France and Czech Republic.

Fallen into disarray?

More successful season than Barca

I agree that this place tends to go overboard with Liverpool stuff and at times with the resident scousers as well. It is to be expected though, rival teams and all.

Don't get me wrong, I believe Ajax fully deserved their place in the final. They beat some decent sides in the progress, no doubt bout it. What I'm saying is that Sevilla side with Krychowiak was a very good unit, IMHO a better side than Ajax we defeated. More, I think they would have had a good to beat us as well.

"Manchester United won cause they played Ajax, we played Sevilla, United had an offside goal, it was windy and the pitch was hard, and whole of Seville was in their box, so it's different, la."

I just remember Klopp's comments after the 0-0 draw against Liverpool this season. Mourinho began the match by completely parking the bus, Liverpool couldn't use the gegenpress like they normally do, and it resulted in United getting a point on the road. Was it a frustrating strategy to watch? Yeah. But Klopp was saying how it was not fair, it wasn't football, etc. Just embarrassingly whiny.

I would say Real had a better season in your hypothetical.

They would have gotten more prize money, more exposure to the public and gain more fans, their players would gain experience playing in the final. This list could go on and on.

I do not understand why meeting a "tough team" means anything. So if we had beaten Barcelona and gotten thrashed by Nice in the following round, it would be a better season than Real who lost in the final??

If beating top teams is the stick to measure success, well we beat Chelsea last season. We may beat Real in the Super Cup too. You think we have a good season if we do nothing else of note??

Trophies matter. And you can only beat the team facing you. So-called lesser teams have won titles (ie Greece, Portugal, Leicester etc). Give them credit where it is due. and that is also how some players prove themselves to be better than the incumbent stars.

Liverpool almost had Sevilla on a plate with 1:0 at HT and Sturridge had his occasions to make it 3:0. They could defend that lead but suddenly a typical occurrence happened in Klopp's finals... and that's probably what hurt him most.

Sevilla were good, just not that good as another LFC manager trying to push through neverending victim mentality rhetoric.
