Jurgen Klopp Sack Watch

I still think they will pip us to fourth, so it's a bit strange how their fans are losing their rags at this result.

One look at our remaining fixtures will tell you we're not favourites to get more points than Liverpool at the end of it.

One look at OUR remaining fixtures will tell you we're likely to drop a lot of points too!

Not really. All the teams you're playing are/will be on vacation.
I can only hope; after last weekend's brainfart, and the brainfarts throughout the second half of the season, I'm not exactly confident. @PickledRed, this is what I was referring to when I decided to base my feelings for the upcoming games on Jan/Feb form instead of the good months.

Lovren has got to go.

Too much faffing when a bit of hoof would do the job, and too much hoof when there is time & space to faff.

I agree.

When he tries to be a better CB than he actually is, he usually makes a complete mess of the situation.

When he keeps things simple and focuses on basic aspects of defending, he's a decent CB.

Palace's first goal was an example of him trying to be a better defender than he really is.

Sadly for Liverpool the laziest way to play football is the style they use to trouble Liverpool.
Sit back, stay compact and hit them on the break. It's why they were whiskers away from dropping points to an uninterested Stoke and West Brom if not for a horrendous miss and Mignolet heroics.
If anything they need teams to come out at them to win, not teams happy to move on with a point

This is where I've been the last month or so .. I hope you're enjoying your glory hunting instead of real life *blows kiss*

So - you live in British Columbia in Canada, @Rafateria ?

If you'd bothered to watch then you'd have known he wasn't 'crying' about long balls at all. He simply stated that he knew what their tactics would be and described how their first goal came about. But anyway I've spoilt your fun now haven't I ? Sorry !

I don't understand what he's trying to show there?
I knew how you were going to score but I couldn't stop you.
Or can we start talking about buses and throws?

Klopp's not done as well as I thought. No Europe, out of both cups in January, free shot at the league. but struggling to nail top 4.

Still think they'll get in but it's looking like hard work.

Beautiful shots. Came in to talk about Klopp, leaving wanting to visit Nepal. Stunning.

Totally agree. We could and should have had a decent stable of CBs but with sales and (unnecessarily) freezing out Sakho he cut his nose off to spite his face. We all knew we needed reinforcements due to a horrible injury list and AFCON but it's just possible that the players he wanted were not available in January so in that regard I'm prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt.
This and the quoted post sum it up quite nicely. Liverpool could challenge next year with more depth and a solid backline.

I listen to the Anfield Wrap sometimes. They talk about Klopp like he's a great manager and an absolute card. I think he's a pretty average manager and a bit of a plonker.

The problems he had a BD in his last season have followed him to Liverpool. He can't beat sides unless they step up and out. His Dortmund side was awesome but I he's really limited tactically.

He was also backed up by one of the best technical departments in Europe. Liverpool's is an utter joke. Then again, united don't really have one.

Why ? Have Suarez & Gerrard resigned and is Sturridge injury free and back to his best ?

Well mainly because Rogers got the tin tack quite early in the season because this Klopp feels was supposed to be going to come in and do a lot better.

Klopp failed in that first season and is failing in this season. Maybe he just needs a few more seasons to fail before his failure to be better than Rogers is acknowledged by some of the manager cult members in your fan base.

The next stage is to blame it all on the owners if I remember how this usually goes. Only after Klopp is gone will there be any suggestion that he might not be the Messiah

Thanks mate ! I would recommend to almost everyone to visit Nepal. Wonderful country and people. It has everything from tigers & elephants in tropical swamps to the highest mountains in the world. And it's so cheap over there (food, hotels, travel) !

You seem to have a totally different definition of failure compared to the vast majority of non-United football commentators (both amateur and professional).

Not wholly wise letting these clowns have any route into your reality.

Too late mate, I've already found him and are preparing the first shipment of dirty jizz stained underwear as we speak.

Failure may be too strong a word but at the same time you can't say he's been a success.
I'll wait until the end of the season before calling that one ! Even so considering that most United fans think we've a squad not fit for the Top 10 never mind Top 4 I'd still say he's done well no ? :D

Hey as long as he keeps not winning any trophies with you he's doing a fantastic job for me ;)
