Jurgen Klopp and Dortmund

Interesting to study human behavior. This 'klopp can do no wrong we all suck his cock' love in, reminds me of how Mourinho was appreciated when he was on the up.

Give it a few years, if he isn't a United manager in the future, we will see the haters (mostly people who used to revere him) pop up.

That was only because he did dirty tricks. Klopp has shown no side of that.

We shall see. If he goes on and manages a big club and gets more media attention dissecting his every move, I'm sure everyone can be painted in another light.

He is, on the world stage, at a relatively small club now, doing his thing and now getting more and more media attention as his side progresses in the CL. When he moves to one of the Chelseas or Madrids of this world, we'll see.

I predict hatred.

 Anything you'd like to dig up on Guus Hiddink or Ancelotti? We don't even see SAF's every move and Dortmund isn't really that small of a club. Simply rejuvenated from their financial meltdown.

Sure anyone can be painted in various lights but it seems like you're looking for something here that might not actually be there. Your argument doesn't make sense. Why does he have to move to the Chelseas or Madrids of this world? Is Benitez really under the microscope like that? Even if something is found, why should it really matter? You're judged on your merit as a manager. Everything else is supplemental.

The only cock are you tbh. So the moment a lot of people appreciate someone's work outside of United it's sucking his cock already? And no one said he could do no wrong.
He did a wonderful job up to this date. People appreciate it. Not more not less. And why should anyone start to hate him? It's not like he manages our PL rivales is he? And when he joins on of our rivals people won't start to hate him as a person neither, more the fact he manages a rival club. That would be fair enough.

Man he must be proud of his team. Before Groskeutz came on, the oldest player on the pitch was 27. His players really have become men after that performance.

They surely would have scored with Gotze on the pitch. That groskrutz guy was fecking shocking.

You can't hate someone who looks like the German Honey Monster.

Großkreutz is 24 years old. The oldest player of Dortmund before the captain Kehl came on was the goalie Weidenfeller (32).

Serious admiration for this team. Made Madrid look extremely average over two legs. Proper modern footballing team. Wonder how likely they are to lose a lot of these players in the summer...

Hopefully Götze will be fit for the final. Will have to wait and see if Bender can make it.

I'm interested to see if Götze is involved in the final.

Pretty ridiculous situation!

He has to play. I don't see how its ridiculous. I'm sure he will be desperate to win the trophy irrespective of joining Bayern.

UCL finals don't come around too often in ones career.

True, the boy may be a cnut, but even cnuts try their hardest, if they get the chance to win the greatest trophy in club football.

Of course he wants to win it even against Bayern.

What would be the use of gifting Bayern the trophy if he won't win it himself and it's far from guaranteed that he would get another chance of winning it in the next season with them.

He might not be the most loyal of players but I think nothing can be said against his professionality on the football pitch.

So if he scores, he should do what ? Celebrate like a mad man or not ?

To be honest I think he should celebrate. Its his boyhood club and hasnt he been there since he was 9? He just signed for Bayern. Its not like they are going to cancel the transfer if Götze celebrates. So if Dortmund win the title, he shouldn't celebrate? Thats just ridiculous. He still doesnt play for them. He should have no reason to not celebrate.

It was a genuine question tbh, I'm not saying he should do this or that

Apparently gotze has a torn hamstring, huge blow for Dortmund.

Definitely out of the Final

 I remember that gif. It was an Indian reporter slapping the shit out of a kid wasnt it?

Not confirmed. A torn harmstring can be healed in 3 and a half weeks.

He is out for the match vs. Munich in the league and probably the rest of the Bundesliga, but could still make it for Wembley.

I'm hopeful but I sincerely doubt it. 3 weeks is the minimum and it's so easy to reaggravate it, usually takes longer. Messi had a smaller tear and is still not 100%, 4 weeks later.

How odd would it be for Mario anyway, facing up against your future teammates in the Finals of the biggest cup competition for a club?

Don't know where you got that from. German media reports (and Klopp said) that he has a torn muscle fibre which afaik usually takes 2 weeks.

Except that they will sign someone to (partially) replace him for next season.

Yeah, the rumors about Eriksen and De Bruyne are getting more serious. I also read something about Fernandinho today, who could come into play, if Klopp wants to move Gündogan on the 10 role.

Did anyone else notice how both Alan Parry and his co-commentator (forgot his name) mixed up Blasczukowski with Grobkreutz  on NUMEROUS occasions. How hard is it to get the names right?

As you say Grobkreutz was terrible. I wanted to throw my remote at the TV because he was bottling such easy passes. Seemed overwhelmed by the occasion.

Klopp has to be really proud of his team though. Almost knocked out by Malaga, killed Madrid and held on in the Bernabeu. I'm sure he'll be ruing the missed chances but to get the Champions League final making Real Madrid look average in both the group and knockout stages playing the kind of football they have and with the resources they have is phenomenal. If they win the CL, their players will be very hard to get. If they won and I was Lewandowski, I wouldnt dare leave.
