Jurgen Klopp and Dortmund

Don't know where you got that from. German media reports (and Klopp said) that he has a torn muscle fibre which afaik usually takes 2 weeks.

Got it off of Honigstein's twitter, and he sourced the german sky sports.

Did anyone else notice how both Alan Parry and his co-commentator (forgot his name) mixed up Blasczukowski with Grobkreutz  on NUMEROUS occasions. How hard is it to get the names right?

That was so annoying. Every time someone on the right side messed up they started criticizing Grobkreutz, even though it wasn't him. They don't even look alike ffs.

Bild is sticking to torn muscle fibre and usually they are well informed (despite publishing a lot of shit).

Also it's either Großkreutz or Grosskreutz. "Grobkreutz" just hurts my eyes :(

Apologies mate. Cant make the type of spelling you can. I'll make sure to just say Grosskreutz.

If Bender is not fit for the final, is he going to play Sahin or Kehl? They have two different duties as central midfielders dont they? One is more of a playmaker, chance creator and the other is more of a defensive mid.

Kehl. Schweinsteiger is too dangerous this season to put him against the most offensive alternative in the CM, which is Sahin-Gündogan.

Against stronger sides, Klopp always prefers to use one classic DM (Bender/Kehl) and creative CM (Gündogan/Leitner/Sahin).

In 3 matches (counting the Super Cup at the start of the season) Bayern have won 2 of them and the other a draw.

Super Cup - BM 2-1 BVB
Bundesliga - BM 1-1 BVB
Pokal - BM 1-0 BVB

Tight games. Gonna be an interesting final.

Gonna be an boring final for people who want to see lots of actions.

But for people who wants to see high quality football with high amounts of finese strategical-wise it will be great.

Yeah I'll trust them then. And my apologies, I knew it was like that but I was on my iPhone and I just copied it from the person I was quoting, couldn't be arsed to spell it out

What is the song that the Dortmund fans sing, that sounds like its to the tune of Michael Jackson's You Are Not Alone? It sounded like Bayern were singing a song to a similar tune as well, but with my limited German (read, inability to speak German) I couldnt decipher it at all

He's my preferred choice as manager to succeed Wenger, I doubt we will get him though. I suspect he will have some big offers coming his way soon, especially if his side salutes in the final.

Klopp seems very principled so it may result him in staying clear of the circuses such as Chelsea, Madrid and any other sugar daddy clubs. so Arsenal may have a chance.

I'm sure he said he'll be seeing out his Dortmund contract anyway which will leave him there til 2016, no? Might be a bit pointless discussing this now, will depend on clubs situations further down the line.

In one of his interviews he seemed to hint towards managing in England one day. He definitely didn't see himself staying at Dortmund "forever" like SAF has for us.

They sing a lot of songs, though i can't think of any with that Michael Jackson tune. Current favourites are the "Pippi Langstumpf Theme" ("wer wird deutscher Meister? BVB Borussia, wer wird deutscher Meister? Borussia BVB" -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=148b2K92k8A) and "sieben Tage lang" (-> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyVpWDM6pbY) which, iirc, is some kind of breton folk song.

Got any hints/youtube clips?

And yet in a different interview he said, that he could see himself as a coach, who has only coach two teams (Mainz and Dortmund) in his whole career.

Klopp´s mind is not set for the far future and to be honest this is probably the right mindset in the extreme fast moving sport that is modern football. What I firmly believe, is that he will stay in Dortmund until 2016. He never gets tired to state, that he is a man who has always honored contracts and fully intents to fullfill his current (unusualy long) one at Dortmund.

He will probably take a long look at the team and club in 2015 and decide for himself, if he can take it farther and what offers he has after 2016. To be honest, I don´t see much destinations, which could tempt him to leave the construct he, Zorc and Watzke have created themselfes.

Succeeding SAF at United is one of the few. Another would be the German national team, although I see him enjoying the daily training too much for a position of a national coach. The only other club would probably be Barca.

Could Echte Liebe fit into that song? sounds like it would fit into the chorus and its their favourite saying of the club.

Well prestige aside I guess it would be very tempting to not have to let go of his best player every season, so he can really build something long term without having to fight an up-hill battle for once.
On the other hand this keeps his job very challenging.

Another issue might be the language barrier: at press conferences he has bit trouble expressing himself as freely as he wants to. And I guess for someone who has so much charisma that's pretty annoying, especially when it comes to communication with his team.

Is this the chant you're looking for?

The sooner the Dortmund bubble bursts the better. The hipsters need to move on and find a new Messiah.

Klopp, winner of back to back league titles and champions league finalist (at minimum) is a hipster choice but moyes, manager of a mid table premier league club isn't?
