Part of the Berrada era of not giving players endless clean slates. Obviously harder to move on those on stupid salaries from earlier management, but good to see that we atleast appear to be able to acknowledge our mistakes, and trying to do something about them, early.

Just heard that Juve are keen on a deal involving a swap with Vlahović.

6 month loan swap with him and Zirkzee wouldn't be the worst of all worlds..
The fans in the Juventus subreddits are also keen to get rid of Vlahovic.
Doesn't bode well that they're clamouring for Zirkzee as a replacement option.
Loan with an obligation to buy or Juve can do one. This isn't a Sancho or Rashford situation where their poor attitude is at risk of negatively affecting their teammates. He just seems like an inoffensive bloke who lacks the ability to succeed in the PL. If there's no obligation to buy then we may as well keep him for the fixtures vs the likes of Everton and Leicester, where he has shown he can still contribute a little.

Vlahovic hasn’t really been the prolific goal scorer that we desperately need but maybe the system doesn’t suit him at Juve? Can’t say I’ve watched enough of those games to have an informed opinion other than what the stats say.
12 in 23 games in all comps this season. Got 18 in 38 for Juve last year too.
30 in 61 so basically 1 in 2.

He is their top scorer this season with 12 in 23 games and that's despite being Motta's most substituted player. He's having a good season but Motta's treatment of him is controversial in Italian media.

The Juve forums have some videos of him this season in general play. One of them was pretty bad. Curious if it's all touches or lowlights but they appear from the same fixture as an example.

5 of those 12 goals are from penalties. We already have Bruno who's one of the best PK takers and plays very game.
So basically 7 goals in 23 doesn't sound too good for the type of fee and salary Juve/Valhovic will demand.

Vlahovic was (as many people called at the time) horrendously overrated when Juventus bought him off the back of a penalty-fueled hot streak for Fiorentina. And since then his general play (which at that point was often very good) has fallen off a cliff.
And now that he's proven to not be good enough, Juve fans want rid. Some select opinions from a Juve fan forum earlier this week, to get a sense of their feelings:
They think replacing him with Zirkzee would be stupid, so there's that. But thats's not a good enough reason for us to bring in more dross.
I'm not really advocating for us to sign him unless Amorim is certain he fits the system but he's a step up from Hojlund and Zirkzee.

Osimhen on loan with an option to buy has to be the move. Not sure I see the point in loaning Zirkzee out unless it’s with an obligation.

I agree with this generally which is why Vlahovic doesn't sound like the play to me.

Vlahovic is a donkey but a more prolific one than Hojlund. Sad state of affairs at this club. Unless we can bring in a proper CF in January, we should be open to a loan swap.
