He looked like he can play, in the Everton game.
That's positive
That's positive
That's exactly the kind of player he is.I think a few identified that around ZZ you need players who will run beyond him to make use of him. Worked a treat.
He could finish the celebration with illusory splashes to indicate it’s a water gun, would that help?
Dont think he had a single decent touch. Hard player to play with as he's slow to react and will give up chasing balls earlier than his teammates
Not a top level footballer and never will be. He'd struggle to impress in the Norweigan or Belgian league.

This website never fails to amaze me. Where do you think we signed him from? Not a top level footballer and never will be. He'd struggle to impress in the Norweigan or Belgian league.
So why bring worse leagues into it? Strange way to make what may well be a valid argument. For the umpteenth time in this thread, I dont care about his meaningless Serie A accolade. You only need eyes to see he's an exceptionally bad footballer and 13 goals in 53 in third tier Serie A doesn't change that.
That time he did really well to burst away from players with the ball and time just seemed to slow and an Arsenal player just recovered and took the ball straight off himI get he’s not that type of player, but he is one of the slowest forwards I’ve seen in a while.
No he wasn't.Weghorst was way better
No he wasn't.
As far as Zirkzee goes, I think he's simply too slow for the top level. He actually tried running hard a couple of times today and it was comically slow. Now if he turned himself into a real physical/aerial threat with his frame then the pace wouldn't be an issue but he doesn't seem interested in that side of the game so right now he's just sort of doing an injured Martial impression where he takes some good touches and plays some good passes but can't run or threaten a backline in the slightest on or off the ball.
He was probably our best player at the weekend...No he wasn't.

I remember him coming on for Holland in the Summer, and it was first I had ever seen of him live and he looked like such a lumbering non athlete in in his 3 min cameo, just moved with so little intensity. I would imagine for a guy of his size and frame he needs to be playing constantly to get his sharpness, which might be a problem for him in this league.
He has a lot of technical ability when the game is at his pace.
I never said he wasn't. But that was a very specific style catered to him against a pretty shite defense, and (let's be honest) both goals were tap ins. My comment is more focused to his future here and how he might contribute as we continue to improve as a team. I'm not sure he has enough strengths to overlook his obvious flaws as an attacker for a PL side looking to get back to the top.He was probably our best player at the weekend...
Cashing in the 'I told you so' off the back of one game was quite funny to read over the last few days. This guy doesn't have it at all.
He's a giant Sancho. Let's just cut our losses early.

The most similar player I could compare him to is Firminho.
You must not have seen Weghorst stink up the place against FC Utrecht yesterday.Weghorst was way better
