Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

Thats simply because Mata had a 2 year run in his prefered position, Oscar has never had a similar opportunity. Oscar has always been shackled by defensive duties under Mourinho and hence most people who just go by the numbers will make an argument against him.
Oscar has had plenty of opportunities. But even if we accept that he hasn't any you can't say he's better until he proves that he can match Mata's output for atleast one season. And so far he hasn't proven anything. Its like saying Bony is better than Aguero, he just hasn't had as many opportunities in his preferred position.

Looks like Roman is set to lose his 37M. Jose will be happy with all that money.
Can't believe this isn't being focused on more. So I ask you RedDevil@84. And answer truthfully:
If getting the sack from your current job, or any job you will ever have in your lifetime, got you 37 million pounds, would you or would you not want to get fired from that job...?

It is too hypothetical for me to answer. 37M for me is way too big money. So I ll gladly take the money and go.
Though I wouldn't want manager of my club to do the same. ;)

Thought so. And don't try and buy sympathy with a winking smilie, as if I'm going to think, "Oh, he's used a cute yellow pictogram. In real life he must be moral." You'd take the money. As would every sack of ponce on this board. ESPECIALLY if your boss was Latin Abramovich. So leave Jose Mourinho alone. He can secure the material futures of numerous generations of Mourinhos, and if you had a family and had the opportunity to do the same, I bet you'd incinerate Stamford Bridge in return for it.

They shouldn't have fired that fit Dr. The guys have nobody else to play for now :(

Where does the question of morality come up? Given a choice between getting sacked empty handed or getting sacked with 37M in the bank, I would pick the latter.
Anyways good to know that you and I are the same kind of sack of ponce.

The amount of money isn't really relevant without Context. It's 4 years wages if the reports are to be believed. Asking a man on the street if they would take getting sacked for that is different to a multi millionaire manager. Some maintain it is only a years wages required as a clause was written into the contract. I doubt he wants to get sacked, his ego wouldn't take it.

On a serious note, it might engender some kind of climacteric, which is what we might be party to seeing right now. His father is sick, by all accounts, and he can barely contain his emotions in front of the press. Because Jose Mourinho is the King of Dossiers people believe he is supremely rational. In fact he is an arch maverick. And when the maverick folds under the pressures of life, what we get is three defeats in a week. Actually makes no sense for Chelsea to retain his services. They should fire him. I would keep him.

BBC five live saying that Eva Carneiro will serve a separate claim against Jose.Another unwanted distraction.

Good on her.

I'm expecting Maureen's head to explode, Scanners style, live on tv at some stage before Christmas. Mind you he is starting to worry me and I'm half expecting him to pull a gun out in a post match presser and start taking hostages soon.

Not while he's got a suspended stadium ban hanging over him.

What he said about her was a disgrace so I hope she drags this out for as a long as possible to get her revenge!

While we're all worrying over Mourinho's supposed mental health problems, it's worth noting that these highly-public meltdowns haven't included a word about the Carneiro situation; very selective meltdowns*, those...

*In other words, the meltdowns aren't genuine meltdowns, nor are they spontaneous.

I never said Oscar is better. Go back to my inital post which you quoted. I said its debatable if Mata is better than Oscar or not.

And that is a piss poor equivalence between bony and Aguero, Bony had a consistent run of 18 months as a lead striker and was no where near Aguero levels. A more suitable comparision will be Sterling and de bruyne, its hard to say who is better.

This is what you said.
Mata's positional play is average while Oscar's is fantastic. Oscar's shooting is marginally better than Mata. Oscar does long shots and freekicks better than Mata. The only things that Mata does slightly better is passing out of deep areas.
Apparently the only thing Mata is better is at passing out of deep areas. Oscar is better at everything else. So clearly you are implying Oscar is better no?

Where'd you hear that? If its true, it could go someway to explaining his behaviour over the last few months. He genuinely seems like he's on the verge of some sort of breakdown.

On what planet is Caneiro fit?
Have standards fallen this low?

it's the lack of availability. You see it in single sex schools, prisons, and in football! There's so little competition, someone's attractive rating is hyped up way beyond true levels.

No you are either just taking the mic or purposefully mis representing my message.

This is what I said.
DeBruyne was giving out interviews every day before being sold. He was clearly not happy being behind Oscar and Mata. What was done was the best end to the story maybe apart from putting in a sell on clause while selling him.

Lukaku was throwing big words even while still on loan at Everton. He wanted to be ahear of Costa which was again a foolish expectation.

Mata is the only one that was slightly sensible about it. I think selling Mata was more about the huge amount of money. Also, it is still debatable whether or not he is better than Oscar.

To which you replied.
Doesn't seem debatable at all. Oscar is a better midfielder, Mata is a better attacking midfielder. Oscar has come nowhere near close to replicating Mata's output. Mata at his worst will still have higher end product than Oscar at his best.

How am i misrepresenting you when i just directly quoted your post? Is this not one of your quotes or are you backing out from your statement?

His dad had brain surgery earlier in the year and then had a couple of strokes. It's been reported recently that he's on the mend though.

Secret footballer claiming it's Cesc who would rather lose than win for Jose.
He is a little weasel, the next manager should turf him when he takes charge

Regardless of whether he is the guilty party, he should be turfed. Blatant mediocrity riding on the coat tails of the team in victories and invisible in tough matches. Chelsea have midfield problems the like of which the world has not seen since Manchester United won the league with similar issues.
