Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

Find it hard to believe the players are deliberately under performing.

If Mourinho has been as much of a dick behind the scenes as he's been in the media, I can believe it.

signs point to yes on him being that as well, with all the NoBantz, him throwing players under the bus in public etc.

I'm sure he's had similr issues with several players throughout his management career, but for me Mourinho picked these players out as either not good enough, or not suiting his style, he has proved to be wrong and it's costing him now.

If he'd given them a bit of love they'd have been more than happy to stay.
Jose doesnt do love-ins. Especially not until a player has sweat blood for him like Ivanovic or JT.

If Chelsea had gone in with Lukaku last season they wont have won the trophies even last season leave aside the discussion for this seaosn. It is highly unlikely that any of those 3 players would be performing to a high standard in the current Chelsea team given the poor form all round.

Doesn't seem debatable at all. Oscar is a better midfielder, Mata is a better attacking midfielder. Oscar has come nowhere near close to replicating Mata's output. Mata at his worst will still have higher end product than Oscar at his best.
Mata's positional play is average while Oscar's is fantastic. Oscar's shooting is marginally better than Mata. Oscar does long shots and freekicks better than Mata. The only things that Mata does slightly better is passing out of deep areas.

Let's not kid ourselves. When it comes purely to offensive contribution Mata is and has been clearly ahead of Oscar. I guess Jose did see some potential in Oscar, but Oscar has actually failed in demonstrating it.

What a load of twaddle.

Almost all Chelsea fans would disagree with you. Oscar scores some wonder goals but they are few and far in-between. Mata has outscored Oscar since he joined us. And before that its not even close. Oscar may be the more complete midfielder but offensively he's not even in the same ball park as Mata.

He will be come the international break if we continue like this.

Just don't think it'll help you, the options are hardly appealing right now.

No Rafa this time, can't believe Ancelloti would touch it, and Hiddink would be a big risk, you should have got in earlier and gone for Klopp, mind you that has at least freed up Rodgers... you could do worse you know.

Oh, atm there are at least 10 managers in the PL who'd do better than Jose with the current squad. I am certain that a possible replacement will pay off immediately.

Hmmm. Who?

Chelsea made it to the CL final with Avram Grant and actually won the thing with Di Matteo. At this point just sacking Mourinho will probably improve the performance of the club regardless of who they can bring in. Even if it means Steve Holland taking over the rest of the season with Chelsea looking for a more suitable replacement for the summer. At this point the results can not get any worse. There is something toxic going on at the club at the best way to try and cure it is getting rid of Mourinho. In the past changing the manager during the season has provoked a positive response from the players might be the case here as well.

You would most likely be a league title up though. Plus the football wouldn't be much worse.

True true. He was always the bloke we should have got, but I think he truly is only capable of managing teams for 2-3 seasons, despite his previous talk of wanting to have a SAF-like tenure.

Thats simply because Mata had a 2 year run in his prefered position, Oscar has never had a similar opportunity. Oscar has always been shackled by defensive duties under Mourinho and hence most people who just go by the numbers will make an argument against him.

You really want an answer to that? It's pretty obvious why everyone would be delighted to see him get sacked

Yeah, it really isn't that obvious to me.

The benefit is that surely someone inferior would take his place, and Chelsea would be lesser opponent because of that.

I'd hate it if he lose a job though, the Premiership is more entertaining with him there. Also, it's lame to wish someone gets sacked.

I don't want him sacked. I think this is hilarious. Long may it continue.

Why do opposition fans want to see Mourinho sacked so badly? What benefit is it to them?

Even on twitter, seems Arsenal fans have been bleating the loudest. This astounds me :wenger:

Why would it astound you that arsenal fans would love it? They are local rivals and mourinho has actively argued that wenger ought to be sacked on several occasions.

No he hasn't. He argued that its unfair that most managers are under so much pressure whilst certain managers are completely safe in their job. It was more saying that he shouldn't be sacked rather then Wenger should.

Mourinho has been pounding arsenal and liverpool fans for years.

He is an integral part of their lives now, he has done so much mental damage to them. I am sure most of them have Mourinho themed dart boards and some probably have Mourinho voo-doo dolls.

If he has lost the dressing room, the sack is imminent. You can be an a**hole with media and other managers. But once you have pi**ed off the majority in the dressing room, your time is up.

you can see it quite easily in this one. nice idea for a thread too.
