You do have a point. Where do they go next?
Their last 5 managers have been Ancelotti, AVB, RDM, Rafa and Mourinho. Ancelotti was wrongly sacked. AVB was supposed to change the playing style and make them more entertaining. As well as be a long term appointment but that went to hell. They appointed Di Matteo and won the CL but that was never a long term appointment. Rafa was picked as he was one of the only options and that failed. Then they went back to Mourinho for stability and that's failed.
They have no long term plan at all. They would probably love Guardiola but that means Chelsea are competing with United and City for a manager who could win the Cl this year with arguably the best team in the world. Why would he leave Bayern Munich and if he did, why would he pick Chelsea over the other two?
Craig Burley said they should have sacked him and got Klopp but missed their chance. It's surprising but he has a point.
