Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

This is bang out of order from Liverpool.

Contractually obligated to draw against Chelsea at best and they do this to Jose. Cheeky kents.

Conspiracy!!!!!!
First referees don't give him undeserved penalties and now the opposition tries to beat him? It's horrifying.

Firing managers early has become far too much of a trend in the BPL and it's part of the reason this league has become such a joke given the money that's being thrown around. As I said in another thread, hold the players accountable first and foremost, they're the ones out there playing football.

Mental to sack him, he won the league last season.

The players have been disgraceful.

You do have a point. Where do they go next?

Their last 5 managers have been Ancelotti, AVB, RDM, Rafa and Mourinho. Ancelotti was wrongly sacked. AVB was supposed to change the playing style and make them more entertaining. As well as be a long term appointment but that went to hell. They appointed Di Matteo and won the CL but that was never a long term appointment. Rafa was picked as he was one of the only options and that failed. Then they went back to Mourinho for stability and that's failed.

They have no long term plan at all. They would probably love Guardiola but that means Chelsea are competing with United and City for a manager who could win the Cl this year with arguably the best team in the world. Why would he leave Bayern Munich and if he did, why would he pick Chelsea over the other two?

Craig Burley said they should have sacked him and got Klopp but missed their chance. It's surprising but he has a point.

Rafa took them from 7th(?) to 3rd and won a European trophy on the way. I don't think his time there was much of a failure, honestly.

Time to go Mourinho. And take half of the team with you please. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the players.

Sacking managers is common place in all of the major leagues in Europe.

Or simply stick with one of the best managers in the business instead of constantly looking to replace the position.

So many players are performing incredibly poorly, commit individual errors that have little to nothing to do with the manager, they should be held accountable.

Maybe the change of the sponsor from Samsung to Yokohama is disturbing them? :)

Yeah, what a joke. They should model themselves on the Real Madrid ethos more.

I had some sympathy for him when seeing that interview. It was just baiting a frustrating man.

I'm glad he's not our manager. It's just one long pantomime with him in charge.

Real is also a joke in that department. They were failing for years because of this policy amongst other things. Sacking Ancelotti was a stupid move. Look at the money they invested and the return they've had.

Players should be held accountable as well. Yes Mourinho has no clue what to do but that's because the players don't care anymore. Hazard looks like he is halfway to Madrid, Costa looks more interested in being a thug then playing football, Fabregas and Pedro are pining for Barca, Mikel is a worthless toad who should be chucked in a well and left to die, Terry and Ivanovic look past it and more interested in retiring then playing football, Oscar still looks tired (Been tired every fecking season it seems), Ramires is like a wind up toy that just moves around aimlessly kicking the shit out of people, Cahill is a complete idiot who should be put down for his stupidity and the rest of them are struggling under an erratic manager who throws them under the bus and/or plays them out of position every week.

The mans done. I just hope our win today and has finished him off. No chest-beating hooligan antics from this prick today thank god.

Do people actually approve of that interview? It's entertaining for us outsiders, I'll give you that much, but it's ridiculous to see a grown man act like a child on tv. He's a joke of a man.

From The Shed End forum:

Emergency press conference 5pm being reported on twitter.

EDIT: May be a 'hilarious' Paddy Power prank.

If I was Mourinho, I would recall Ake, Christensen, Bamford, Solanke, Baker and Van Ginkel. I would tell all of the first team to not bother turning up for training and if they do just chuck them on a pitch in the corner with no ball or cones to do anything and spend all of my time working with the kids.

He said if he couldn't win the league he would play the kids. We cant win the league now, in all honesty. Time to spend your attention on the kids and feck the senior players. We don't need any of them bar maybe Azpilicueta and Willian. Let the rest stay at him, get fat and rusty and then see how they feel about their prospects with no team willing to sign them.

That would be an over reaction. Though I think Kalas and Ake should have stayed here in the first place. Ake is probably on the same level as Baba and Kalas has way more to offer than djilobodji.

But Bamford, Solanke, Baker and Van Ginkel hardly have anything to offer.

Christensen has been great for Gladbach recently. Ake is brilliant and versatile, Van Ginkel has looked good and would offer something different and Solanke/Baker have been Vitesse best performers so far. Definitely deserve to play over the arseholes that don't give a shit.

I am tired of seeing players who have no interest and no they can ruin shit and rock the boat with zero consequences. Time for every players who hasn't looked up to scratch to face up to their actions. The only way to do that is by going all in with it. You take all the power away from them and they cant feck up the club like they have been.

I agree with this sentiment

Doing ok in a mid table german team is no guarantee of success in PL. Christensen is on the right track at gladbach wont want to mess with his development. Have high hopes for him. Solanke and Baker have hardly been Vitesse' best peformers, they are doing ok but hardly anywhere close to what Traore was doing last year.

I agree with you on Ake, he should definitely playing DM or LB for Chelsea right now. Was very surprised to seem him go in the first place.

I think Mourinho is a gonner now. Should keep the players together so that they get behind the new manager who ever it is.

I'm no fan of Chelsea and certainly not of Mourinho whose previous behaviour has often been disgraceful however, I'm no fan either of a disrespectful media scenting blood and going for the kill.

I can't believe I'm saying this but leave Mourinho alone now, it's just not fair this media feeding frenzy. Give the guy a break.

I would rather keep Mourinho then the players. The players should be held just as accountable IMO and should be gone regardless of manager.

Solanke has 3 goals in 8 games so far, coming into his first season in a proper men's league in a new country for the first time with new teammates. The kid is absolutely clinical regardless of age.

Baker has been a mainstay in that Vitesse team and has been one of their main creators on the ball. He absolutely has been as good as Traore who struggles at the beginning if his loan last season.

Also, I would rather Christensen playing and developing with Chelsea, building a partnership with Zouma for future seasons then playing for Gladbach. He was also great against Man City in the Champions League.
