Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

Who do you want me to target next with a sack watch?

And replace him with who. We're in the middle of a league season.
Any competent manager to steady the ship I'd guess. Not saying sacking him is wise, but can't see how he stays in his job after this -- 9 defeats altogether this season for him.

4th place wasn't the aim for this season. The lowering of expectations is part of the reason why he has to go.
Also you could go on a bad run at start of the season and not be far off 4th, it's only 10 games. If this continues over a season that would be 30 odd points off 4th.
It won't, but if they were much further off than 9 points they would be almost bottom of the table

I doubt that Mourinho's expectations were lowered at the beginning of the season. It's baffling how a team of champions can suddenly start playing like drop dodgers. They haven't changed anything internally like we did when Moyes came in so what's going on?

Mourinho is the most successful manager in the game since 2000ish. Its not like they would be sacking Di Matteo or Grant here. He is the pinnacle of managers and is going through a rough patch. Something Roman needs to consider before switching managers yet again.

Never like to see the Pool win a match but still hugely satisfying to see Mourinho and Chelsea get pounded over and over and over. I can't imagine the owner is too pleased.

Indeed. The mafia man has to back him 100% and Jose needs to muck out the dressing room.

He's lost the dressing room. It's obvious, some of their defending today was just amateur.

I can't see it being a coaching issue, the players just aren't playing for him.

Mental to sack him, he won the league last season.

The players have been disgraceful.

Looks like they aren't playing for him any more though. Also a few signs that he's losing the plot and the fact that he's never had to deal with this type of situation before and may not no how to dig himself out of it.

Mourinho is a goner..yes, he's a great manager, but the players simply arent playing for him. He's lost Hazard, Terry, Matic among others..he's done.

Watch Mourinho's replacement help them kick on. This is the same club that was struggling, fired their manager mid-season and won the FA cup and European cup. Roman will remember that too.

Only one man for the job really...

Doesn't matter. You can't sell all of your players, it's far easier to simply replace the manager and then back that manager to get rid of players he wants. Much like we've done with LVG, the players that didn't pull their weight under Moyes have been quickly moved on.

I wouldn't sack him if I was the chairman, but Abramovich probably will is my point.

"The fans are not stupid"

He's lost it now. He's forgotten what Chelsea fans are like.
