Jose Mourinho Sack Watch

Find it interesting, something happened with Ray Wilkins when Ancelotti was in charge and the players downed tools and he was done.

Now the whole thing with Carneiro has happened and the players have downed tools again.

 He's always entertaining. I'll give him that much.

I wouldn't sack him if I was the chairman, but Abramovich probably will is my point.

If he does stay, I'd say there's a good chance he will turn it around. He thrives on this sort of dramatic, siege mentality and has a league winning squad to work with.

the stupid thing would be to fire him.

I hope the criminal does do it.

Its just too bad it was the scum who beat them.

I'll say this now. If Jose was available after LvG, I would be happy if we got him.

Me too. If he's available when Van Gaal leaves, we'd be stupid not to get him.

Mourinho is the most successful manager in the game since 2000ish. Its not like they would be sacking Di Matteo or Grant here. He is the pinnacle of managers and is going through a rough patch. Something Roman needs to consider before switching managers yet again.

It's hardly that simple. There's been so many high profile incidents of Mourinho being a complete nob this season and bringing nothing but negative press to the club. It stretches way beyond the results. If it were a mere slump without his antics, then fair enough, but it's not.

Best manager around, apart from maybe Pep. Top four is probably too far imo, but Chelsea should just take the hit and let him rebuild.

Who was asking the questions? Hilarious interview I'm sure José even had a chuckle at the end.

Class interview  See a lot of American athletes do that and it's great to watch

what a bizarre set of comments.

Why on earth would it be stupid to fire him after such a disastrous 3months? If they don't act now, and sort this out they'll miss out on even top 4, which would be a huge blow.
They've a history of sacking managers easily and quickly turn it round into trophies.

They were just about hanging on after Christmas last season.

Yet you'd still take Mourinho on after a shocking 2015

The thing is, this siege mentality situation has now existed for a good few weeks. I think he would eventually turn it around too, but something just isn't right there at the moment, more than just players off form I feel.

Again I say this every week in this thread that it's all well and good to believe that he can turn this around but we need to see something on the pitch as well

he was gagging to be our manager. This was always second choice. Yup. He would be my first choice. A great manager does not become shit in a few months.

I don't get this. He's a massive disruptive, childish, unlikable cnut who never stays anywhere for long and serves up the same defensive football that LvG does. I can't fathom why anyone would want him here as long as there are alternatives.

Match report from Chelsea's website:

Jose Mourinho's Chelsea suffered another unfair defeat in today's match against Mark Clattenburg. Liverpool's first goal was deflected off JT's brave blue balls; Coutinho added another flukey goal, and then some other bloke scored while Lucas remained unprosecuted. Yada yada yada, whatever. C*nt ref.

Look at the amount of complaints about our play style under LvG, if Mourinho was in charge there would be riots. Not gonna lie I was hoping for Mou after SAF retired but I'm glad we didn't get him.

He would be insane. Mourinho is still among the best managers in the world. If he can't do it, no one else can.
He generally is insane to be fair. He's very quick on the draw when things arent going his way.

"Even when it was the bears, I knew it was the ref."

He's lost it.

The Lucas tackle would have been a harsh second yellow yet he's waving his arms about and clapping the ref. He'll be on another charge.

It's obvious he's got no idea what to do. Something has gone wrong and the players have downed tools.
