It is probably too soon to say but it is on my mind and similar to what I said post-match after Liverpool. You can't not feel worse off as a player getting made to look ordinary by your big rival.
I'm not sure we can blame his tactical approach for 2 goals with individual errors.

There is no plan apparently. It's something mentioned regularly. He sets the team up and expects shiny forwards/attackers to work it out themselves.

I don't always agree with his tactics but this is the first game this season where I feel like we're not ready for the game. Mentally and tactically.
Not much to blame him, really is on Lindelof and Mata. But attackingly we are absolutely horrible, and have been for a while.
Still can't get my head around why we didn't buy at least one full back and a right wingers. It was glaringly obvious we needed both. Why waste money on a CB when that was the least of our concerns?

Don't blame him for being 2-0, but the team has looked disjointed especially when going forward. It's difficult to say how much of it is down to Jose. The games not over yet so I don't want to get carried away but I think the key issue is the injury list. Our team is probably not as strong in depth as we thought. Take away 1-2 first team players and suddenly we look like a different team, never mind the many players missing right now.

That doesn't apply to this match. I say this as someone who gave him flack after Anfield.

Both the wingers are always tracking back. Leaves nobody available at the attacking end. We dont make good transitions from defence to attack
He didn't even have an alternative. I doubt perisic would have made a huge difference. Mata ,lingard would still have played. He still would have started to play young. He should have been more ruthless.
Do you know much about how the transfer process works ? Managers don't get to be 'ruthless'. They simply tell the owners/board/CEO who they want and those people attempt to sign the said players. There's not such thing as being ruthless. If a player is available then the transfer happens.
Today has justified why he didn’t attack Liverpool, their attack is better than ours and we probably would have got beaten.

We need 3 goals and he's taken Mata and Martial off instead of Lingard. Yes, the aforementioned players have been quite bad, but they'd still offer more than Jesse.
The recent lack of goals or even looking like scoring is starting to look like last season all over again.

It was clear in the summer we needed more quality in our attack and we just ignored it. I can't believe it was Perisic or no one.
Then he should have given a better list. To think he just needed 4 players was foolish to begin with . Old jose would not have been tolerating average players, here he is. Last season too he was generous with players and gave them opportunity to prove (fair enough), again he is doing the same. Average players won't win you the title. He thinks fellaini is some makelele and lingard is some sneijder.
That's one way to look at it and true - but at the same time, we were completely listless before the goals. Barely had an attack, much less taking it to a team that would have been nervous after the last disaster.
He seems to have taken all the urgency out of the team, and we just can't turn it back on.
