Only two days before the annual links to Everton began! His West ham purple patch makes it a move I wouldn't mind too much until the end of the season but he was poor with Forest.
To be fare to him, he got injured at the wrong time - when he was finally fit we didn’t need him + Danilo was sensatIonal in his position. Probably wouldn’t write him a recommendation letter beyond top bloke to have around the place.Only two days before the annual links to Everton began! I think he’s done as a footballer - I don’t think he’s got the motivation anymore. He could still do a job in the premier league. Think Rob Edwards at Luton could be a good manager for him. Look what he has done with Barkley

He barely had the motivation when he was at United.I think he’s done as a footballer - I don’t think he’s got the motivation anymore.
SighGot done for drink driving recently, idiot
Isn't he a bit young to be drinking or driving? He's a huge talent but I think Gareth should let him develop in the u18s and not call him up to the senior squad for a bit.Got done for drink driving recently, idiot
Why would it be when you like to drive yourself? Especially if you buy fancy sportscars etc that are designed for making driving fun. Of course that depends, you would hire a driver for a Rolls Royce, I don't think you would for a LamborghiniI never really understand millionaires who were caught drink driving. Surely having a personal professional driver to take you anywhere is the preferred method to get from point A to point B outside of footballing needs?
Without feeding into the classic 'Lingard is young' joke, reading that he is somehow older than Varane, Bruno and a few of our other established players does not compute at all.Clearly. If he's fit, he could have found a club at a suitable level, where he could still make a difference. He still only just turned 31. Seems like he's been more interested in finding a big payday than actually playing football.
He's one of those footballers that I suspect might to be broke in 5-10 years. He seems that thick. And I don't think there are obvious paths for him in management, coaching or media.

Pogba Lingard and DDG all finishing up early for one reason or another. mad enough given their ages. At one point the 3 of them were probably valued at around 200 million quid
it has messed with my head today.Older than Varane Never thought about that. Seems completely implausible somehow. You can add Shaw, Maguire and Lindelof to the list as well.
Something like Pogba 120m, DDG 75m, Lingaard 5m?Pogba Lingard and DDG all finishing up early for one reason or another. mad enough given their ages. At one point the 3 of them were probably valued at around 200 million quid
I don't think so. No motivation anymore. Hardly had any motivation when he played for us. It is like he, Pogba and some few others didn't care about football and it was all about social media, clothes and all that nonsens. He could still do a job in the premier league. barely recall one serious interview he done as a footballer talking about footballClearly. If he's fit, he could have found a club at a suitable level, where he could still make a difference. I hope we don't go anywhere near him. Luton always look for players that won't have an ego and buy into the team ethos. Townsend for example was a perfect example. No other club wanted him and we gave him a chance... Now he's turning up to U-21 matches to help the youngsters develop and seems very grateful in interviews etc.He could still do a job in the premier league. Ignore the ney sayers on here. He is actually a team player and played a big part in contributing to team spirit as well as keeping the dressing room together last season. It’s just he’ll do it from the bench or the injury table. Jessie was doing exactly as you described Townsend for us last season.I hope we don't go anywhere near him. Plus, we can't afford the wages JLingz will be looking for.

Harsh to bunch De Gea together with those two although I understand the point being made.
He could still be doing a job for us now, and is a club legend, while with the other two I am glad they are no longer here.
Oh I’m glad they are all gone to be honest. I didn’t like Lingard or Pogba and DDG was finished for years and on way too much. Point stands could have sold all of them for decent fees at one point

Sounds like Uber to me!Mad idea, but instead of having a paid driver, what if there was a way you could just contact a company or a person and you could pay them to drive you to your chosen destination on the occasion that you might need to avoid driving while drinking.

You are probably right. But a good player in there when motivated. Definitely a premier league /top end Championship side.
Does such a thing even exist?Genuine question, would a motivated Lingard offer more or less than Martial or Antony?
It's a really depressing thing to discuss, and there's always the possibility some incompetent clown at the club to read this and offer Lingard a 3 year contract.Genuine question, would a motivated Lingard offer more or less than Martial or Antony?
He went literally an entire year, Jan 1 to December 31, without registering a goal or assist for Manchester United, while starting regularly as a number 10 (specifically year 2019) So he has previous for offering less. Because you don't -get- less than zero. It was a stain on the club that he stole a living here as long as he did.Genuine question, would a motivated Lingard offer more or less than Martial or Antony?
