Now where is that cnut who wanted to sell him?

I don't know how anyone doesn't love him.

I love him more than you lot. So there. :D

Even without the goals, him even being on is such a tactical advantage as teams often defend much deeper and leaves much more space in front for the likes of Wayne.

What a player to have around.

Big game player too with goals against Chelsea and Liverpool to his name already.

Outside the penalty area, he's useless. Inside it, he's brilliant.

If you compare how he played today compared to how he played against Norwich I'd be surprised if you told me there was no difference. He came on with a purpose today and looked pretty sharp. His touch wasn't off at all today. Great impact player. Cant wait until he's back in form. We are blessed with so many great attacking options! :D

Brilliant player, as soon as he came on his touch was bang on and he was buzzing about. I always feel with Hernandez that his first few touches generally dictate how he ends up playing for the rest of the game, it's weird but regardless of his play he's almost impossible to mark. He needs to develop other facets of his though because once he loses half a yard of place he might not be as potent a la Owen.

Javier Hernández has scored 9 goals in 21 substitute appearances for #MUFC, the highest scoring ratio off the bench in the club's history.

What kind of stat is that? Im sure a United player has come on as a sub on their debut and scored. Therefore they instantly had a 100% scoring ratio as a sub.

so true! He came on with a purpose today. Looked much better compared to his performance against norwich. nothing seemed to work for him that day

i guess not. How many players have scored on their debut and that be their only sub appearance

I guess the point being made is that 100% would be the highest ever regardless of whether they maintained it. Hernandez' Utd career isn't over after all.

Well the Norwich game was his first after being kicked out of two games on the trot so unsurprising he wasn't quite on it. The 90 mins he got for Mexico midweek has done him the world of good clearly=4 minutes on the field and he scores. 14gend in the making.

wont dispute that at all. I think at the very worst, his touch is inconsistent. Armchair made a great point that when he starts well, he usually does well

It's impossible not to love the fella. Seemingly devoid of any ego and works so hard to get into positions to score goals. It's not luck that's so often in the right place at the right time.

Javier Hernandez's goalscoring record off the bench is 2.3 times better than Ole Gunnar Solskjaer #thefutureisbright

Doesn't matter until he's done it to win us a CL-final :smirk: Hope he does it at Allianz.
