From Chris, Chelsea fan in London, via text: "I hate Hernandez, how many points has he single handedly won for United by being in the right place at the right time - a great player but you have to wonder if United would be at the top without him?"

 How many points has Hernandez single handedly won for United by being a striker and doing his job? Let's take a random player out of the Chelsea squad and see whether Chelsea would be near the top 4 without him. Idiot.

Oh United are a one man team again:D

 brilliant, we've not been a one man team for a while now

Thank God we have him. We've lacked a game winner that shows up consistently but we have one now.

When I find myself in times of trouble
Chicharito scores for me
Javier Hernandez, Little Pea
Little Pea Little Pea, Little Pea Little Pea
Javier Hernandez, Little Pea

19 goals on his debut season and time for more. What will he be like when he settles.

That's the thing, he settled instantly. He'll probably get even better, but not because of settling, he's done that already.

I want this picture in HQ

What a player. His goals have been absolutely crucial. He could retire now and I'd still love him.

How many points has Chicharito won for us? I dont remember even Ole having such a big impact in his 1st season.

He must've won us about 20 points with his goals this season. I'm struggling to keep calm about the whole situation, to be honest.

It's ridiculous.

I don't think the prospect of settling is really an issue any more. he has clearly settled on the pitch. Don't know about private life, but its not affecting him to much, it would seem.

Can he get better yes!!, but it will be thanks to the work done with him in training by the coaches.

Signed him for the same amount that we sold Foster for I think.

Didn't think he was good at all today, but the difference is that he keeps scoring the goals when we need them, and that's why he's here.

Another good performance & another game-winning goal. His development has been so good that I now expect him to score every game he plays, wonderful signing.

Chicharito's league goals:

1-0 v West Brom H (2-2)
1-0 v Stoke A (2-1)
2-1 v Stoke A (2-1)
2-0 v Wigan H (2-0)
2-1 v West Brom A (2-1)
1-0 v Stoke H (2-1)
2-2 v Blackpool A (3-2)
1-0 v Wigan A (4-0)
2-0 v Wigan A (4-0)
1-3 v Liverpool A (1-3)
2-4 v West Ham A (4-2)
1-0 v Everton H (1-0)

How many points it is then?

He missed one chance and yes he does need to work on his buildup play but the way he stretches teams is out of this world. With him in the team, you always feel there are some possibilities with every attack.

He has the Tevez work-rate and knack of scoring important game winning goals, but without the associated stink of being a twat.

Hes already surpassed any total Tevez managed in a season for us, and more than double the amount of league goals Tevez scored in his last season at the club.

And yes hes an extremely likeable person, unlike gargoyle features.

He should keep number 14. I have gotten used to him wearing it now and by keeping it he can go on and make a legendary number at the club like 20 Legend, and Scholes 18.

His 19th goal of the season on the way to helping us to #19, he's a born match winner, the biggest thing though is his mentality, some players go to a big club and simply wilt under the pressure, but Hernandez has embraced the big stage.
