FFS, this is a forum. If everybody's not allowed to have their own opinions, then it defeat the purpose of a forum isn't it? I mean, i do think Fletcher is shit this season, Carrick was hopeless for the last 2 seasons, and Oshea is just a good squad player. Am i not a fan for thinking that way?
Looking back at the last few pages of this thread, I think it's fairly obvious to see that I completely derailed the whole thing with my rant! So to everybody that hasn't a breeze as to what's going on, I got pissed with a mate and then went onto the caf to let loose but chose the wrong thread. Sorry for the whole sham that is the last 3/4 pages.
My point with regards to Carrick, Sheasy etc. is that when a player is in bad form, the last thing he needs is a fan/fans on his case. I've played football in front decent crowds, I presume you've played it as have many others here and if you're having an off night, the only thing that could make it worse is if people are on you're back. They know they're not playing well, so I think the best thing is to rally around them. Although some players react differently, I'd never boo one of my own players for playing badly, as long as he tries his heart out, that's all you can ask for. That's what I'd do and I'd see as a proper fan.
And my last point was that some of these fans were the exact ones that said Evra was never going to make it, or Ronnie was only there for showboating etc. Give them support and it'll go a long way.
Really don't understand how people see him as being able to start against City from the off in that formation. We saw against Chelsea how he struggles in hold up play and also against defenders that toss him around with his back to goal.
Sure if people are saying the formation should have been different and Chicha starts with perhaps Berbatov - makes sense but, going a bit OTT suggesting he would have been a better lone striker - we've not seen him once play that role effectively and nothing in his play suggests he's up for it yet.

His touch was a bit off today
I didn't think he was very good tonight. Lively as ever but his touch and awareness weren't all that great.
I thought he played well tonight, feeding off scraps, his awareness to play Evra in to create Giggs' sitter was our best slice of play on the night.
His link up play was good all through the game. He just had feck all service.
Needs to learn when "making sure the referee sees a foul" to not starfish. You are not Steven Gerrard, so you won't get away with it.
He struggles with controlling the ball at times.He can find some good spaces but his first touch enables the defender to close him down
Some loose touches tonight that, despite not giving away possession, lost us some momentum in potentially threatening attacks. A disappointing end to an average/ok performance.
His touch was poor today but the movement & the desire to create chances was there to be seen. Couldn't do anything more with the chance he had, simply was a terrific save.
Not his best performance but all is forgiven!

Really? I thought his link up play was as good as I've seen from him.
Some was fine, other times the ball literally rolled under his foot or bounced off him, some of his passes were a bit stray, nothing dramatic hes still obviously a young player developing and the most crucial part of his game is still world class.
3 shots on target .... no goals....feck him off.

A simple choice of: if you could choose just one to have in your team from now on, who would it be?
Two scouse mates went with Suarez straight away. My Arsenal mate had to think about it for longer but agreed with them. Personally I'd go with Hernandez - Saurez will probably show that comparatively he's got more to his game, but Javier seems the more reliable goalscorer.
Thoughts?

suarez is also a year older than chicharito and has more european experience, for what that's worth. i think there is much more to be seen from young hernandez...
For United then I'd take Chico every time because we've got plenty of players that can operate in the hole behind the striker. Chico offers something different and that's why he's so important.
Whilst your Arsenal supporting friend said Suarez had they had Chico in their team this season they'd be top of the league IMO.
As for the Liverpool fans, it's a no brainer really. They're all really excited about Suarez.
