Right...Mexican hat dance or La Cucharacha?....It's gotta be one of them! The lad needs a chant for Spurs..

completely forgot about the match today (pretty busy at work). logged on a few minutes ago and went to United's site...saw that hernandez came on with ten minutes to go and won it in the 90th...not a bit surprised. he's amazing.

That is 6 goals in 11 games for United. That is pretty impressive for a rookie - scoring every other game so far.

Minutes: 534
Goals: 5
Minutes per goal: 106.8

before last night.

He came on in the 81st minute, so add another 9 minutes

Minutes: 543
Goals:6
Average: 90.5 min

He's really a combo of young Michael Owen speed; with Ole's short backswing/quick release shooting and shearer's heading ability.

sorry if posted already:

"We tend to build up heroes very quickly at this club," Ferguson said, "but the boy is justifying all the praise he's getting at the moment. He's very professional, first out on the training ground and the last one back in every day."

I think he's better than Berba and Roney in at least three aspects: (1) pace (fit Rooney is close though), (2) heading the ball, (3) natural poacher's instinct. Great buy, could turn out to be a fantastic goal scorer.

Calm down.

Once again job done by Hernandez, fair play to the lad he is doing very well. Hope hestarts against Spurs.

The 7 would be perfect, now that new messiah has come :D

One thing he seems to have in common with our previous portuguiese no. 7 is that they have the ability to score goals with every part of their body and by pure accident :D

I'm excited about him. After all the crap we've had with the Rooney saga, it's nice to see a young player doing well and playing with a smile on his face. It should give the whole team a lift!

The way that this lad plays and obviously enjoys his football is a breath of fresh air at the moment. He's actually making it fun to watch again. The backwards header was outrageous.

Quite a contrast to a certain someone and although I'm loathe to mention his name in here he really ought to be embarassed by his own behaviour.

What a quality signing! Really exciting player! I just hope Rooney doesn't come back now and ruin all the fun!

Seriously, I think Roon needs some time on the bench to learn some much lacking humility, and for the first time in a long while I really don't think we'll be a lesser team for his absence.

Its somehow funny that one of the young players, who Rooney doubted their quality, might be keeping him out for a while now :)

I refuse to get his name on my United shirt because he decided he wanted to have Chicharito on his shirt. But if he gets the number 7 eventually.......

I noticed that too. He seems to have a very positive spirit on the pitch and he plays with happiness. Off to the megastore ;)

Instead of a surly mouthed angry fecker.

What I like the most is when a pass is clearly well intended and overhit he still turns around and shows appreciation.

Yes, I noticed that too.

He always makes a point to clap for the pass(difficult ones) even if they're over hit. Seriously, his attitude has been very refreshing so far.

His football is so sexy it makes MEN wet, Bye bye Rooney bye bye in a bay city rollers stylee :)

I'm adopting him. I'm fully aware that he isn't an orphan or owt like that but it doesn't mean that I can't be his dad in this country.

The pea is mine, all mine!

(evil laughter proceeds)

On a more serious note, I loved the his headed pass to Obertan. Lovely stuff.
