That was quality. Set me up in a great mood.
Better than his goals at the World Cup I would say, the lad doesn't know the meaning of the word pressure (or the Spanish equivalent)
Just as impressive, if not more so, than the similar goal Benzema scored against us for Lyon.
SAF said that Hernandez took his goal 'like he was shelling a pea'.
Rio said he is one of the first in training and the last to leave.
That comment from SAF actually made me laugh out loud, it must have been intentional, surely?
I think he really needs to work on a lot of things though, apart from his finishing and movement in the box he's very raw - makes the wrong runs a lot, touch is very on/off and his hold-up play is often poor. I think probably a large part of it is a combination of nervousness and getting used to the pace of European football but still...

I don't think you can say that he's making the wrong runs. He just needs time to gel with the team so they actually find his runs with their passes, because his knack of finding space in behind the defense is second to none.I think he really needs to work on a lot of things though, apart from his finishing and movement in the box he's very raw - makes the wrong runs a lot, touch is very on/off and his hold-up play is often poor. Looking at Wiki to find his goal ratio and found this:
He did more in his time on the pitch than Park or Berbatov. Not that it was Berbatov's fault since he had awful service. He's great coming on when the game is stretched or at least the opposing team is attacking. Against 14 men behind the ball Rangers, he's not going to do much.
After doing almost all the work himself on both occasions, which proves the point about poor service as he didn't get any chances thanks to good opening passes from team-mates.Berbatov nearly scored twice.
Hernandez got his chances because we finally showed the balls to play 2 up top. Berbatov's only chances came from individual play out wide because he was never in the box at the end of our moves. He pulls out to the wing and doesnt get into the box for the cross, and thats why we were struggling to get a goal. He needs to play with a partner.
Berbatov was in the box quite a lot but the crossing all game was sub-par.
just got home from work and saw the goal on replay. a little surprised kiko didn't shoot, more surprise he passed it to hernandez with two defenders in front of him, and thrilled he scored like that in traffic. kissed the badge and wouldn't let go of kiko. lol
very nice win for United.
He's a striker, isn't he? That was my reaction when he scored. "Striker!"
