LVG trying to get rid of him is a sure fire way to lose the fans. I'm sure that isn't the case though. Van Gaal said he was very happy with his work. He's not the type to lie about these things.

Playing as a lead the line striker. Just had a great little turn at the half line but ended up getting tackled before being able to release a deep runner.

There appear to be a LOT of fans there for a friendly surely?! Impressive.

Both teams have impressive fan bases, so not too surprising.

The young boys seem to be having fun and are super motivated. Just as it should be.

that's what I don't like on him... he is quite soppy in possession at times, losing the ball after initial great piece of play, looks the most creative player on the pitch so far, hope he gets gametime this season and comes back stronger..

He IS the most creative player on the pitch. The only one who comes close is Castro in CM, but at the front he is the strongest individualist.

Is Reus actually injured?

Mildly, yes. Will probably be rested in the next Bundesliga game. Maybe Kagawa aswell who will have a lot of traveling in his bones. Castro and Hofmann will probably move into the starting XI with Adnan as first offensive option from the bench.

What happens if he has an amazing season, and then for us when he comes back he has a bad season in and out of the side? Sell him, or sack the manager?

Well just do it like with Kagawa.

By that time Louis will high five Pep as he walks out the door and it will be up to Guardiola to deal with the boy.

Thunk this is another vase of needless worry. The club have stressed in the past week that he will be back. The fact that the loan was free and doesnt have any clause tells me its strictly about his development. Its a win win situation for both clubs. Dortmund lack depth in attack and are in the euro cup which is a gruelling comprtition. WE have Andreas Pereira, who i think Van Gaal likes and wants to givr game time. If hr plays regularly for Dottmund and performs everyone will be happy.

My fear too! It was a mistake loaning him out! And, he just scored with Dortmund. Am very happy for him. http://m.101greatgoals.com/blog/adn...ussia-dortmund-debut-against-st-pauli-videos/

I would be fecking livid.

Yes, especially as a lot of people that have followed LVG over his career have told us how he prefers to develop players rather than loan them out..I hope this is an exception as Id love an academy graduate to be good enough to become a mainstay here.

For such a forthright personality, LvG is concealing his partiality for Andreas very well.

The fact he sanctioned a new contract, and there wasn't a sniff of a loan deal for him points to him rating pretty highly imo.

I personally think he gave Januzaj a shot early on because he is/or should be further along in his development, and is flattering to deceive in training, he proved to be not up to it yet so off he went, and now Pereria will get a chance.

I hope he does. He's been excellent every time he's played for us.

Dreadful finish.

You could see what he was trying to do though. It was a Berbatov trademark.

'Lazy'/classy/trying to be clever/cute outside of his boot shot aiming for the keeper's near TOP corner post.

Lol stuff but would have been an amazing finish had he got his angles right and somehow beat the keeper..

Good debut for Dortmund. Like some have already mentioned on here, I am surprised we bought Martial and loaned Januzaj out as the latter is more further in his development. However, then I realized that Martial might be slowly introduced to our team, rather than being a regular. So, it will not be like Martial will have as much gametime Januzaj would have had if he stayed. Overall, the loan was a good move for Januzaj and I hope to see him as a regular for United next season.

He is only 20, the raw talent he has is amazing. I don't fear him being sold, everyone at the club knows how precious he is.

Hope he gets a start in the weekend, some Dortmund fans think so.

So has it been confirmed that Dortmund only have first refusal on him, and not an option to buy next summer?

Because they don't. Because I'll lose my shit if they do.
