It's good that there doesn't seem to be an option to buy involved. Hopefully the experience will help his development. Leaves us another attacker down though so maybe we are going to get someone in as well as Martial?
This seems like such a bad move.
We desperately need pace and creativity in our attack, everyone knows it and Van Gaal has mentioned it multiple times. So we get rid of someone who has both and can play in all four attacking positions. Why not try mixing it up instead of getting rid, there have been so many times already this season when Rooney has looked terrible upfront and Mata has been struggling for impact on the right and Januzaj didn't get a chance in either role. What's the logic?
And to top it off he's gone to team with an attack that looks better than ours! Hard to see him being given a lot of playing time at Dortmund.
Agreed but why not give a young talent more chances?Only makes sense if we sign one more. We're too light.
Official announcement on Dortmund's site has no mention of an option to buy. It says contract till Jun 30, 2016. Hope it is that way only and there is no option to buy for them. If it is just a loan, it is THE club I would have liked him to go to.
At 18 he was starting 50% of your games, played 27 in all. At 19, he wasn't trusted enough. At 20 he's loaned out. You see where I'm going with this? He's 20 ffs.
Not if he brings Tuchel with himIf he ever comes back at Utd, he'll need psychiatric help because going from Dortmund's football to Utd's can be soul damaging
How is loaning him to the German league good for us? He needs premierleague experience.
Caf Logic. Also, Surprised LVG also didn't think keeping him so he can take notes from the other stars on the team was a good idea, since you know that's a good way for players to develop according to the caf

He's a top talent who should've been playing at your club, not loaned out for inexplicable reasons.
On the plus side, maybe getting away from Louis Van Gaal will let him play some football.
But obviously we need to clear out all of our attacking players bar Rooney, by any means necessary.
The management want instant results. He'll come back more ready to be a starter and hence trusted enough. At 18 he was starting 50% of your games, played 27 in all. At 19, he wasn't trusted enough. At 20 he's loaned out. You see where I'm going with this?
