I'm not sure if you're either supporting Sancho or just sad how it's turned out - but a quick google of sancho and 'issues' shows a lotSad it has come to this. Everybody on this forum was crying out for him for 2 summers straight.
We have 650m in borrowings and 323m in transfer fees payable. With 67m in cash and 52m in tranfer fees collectable, that is not what I would call plenty of cash.Depends what limitations you have. Right now, Man Utd have access to plenty of cash, but might have issues with P&S or FFP. Consequently, book value will be of concern.
Yeah, people have this idea that we have loads of money to spend but are being scuppered by Uefa rules. In reality, we're just pretty skint because of all the money we've wasted. We have 650m in borrowings and 323m in transfer fees payable. That Dortmund team he was in, it had runners everywhere, who were creating spaces, making over lapping runs. And Jadon was able to play his street football style of passing. He only had to knock the ball into an area and Haaland would get onto the end of it. It suited him. And the club had worked with him for a number of years to get the best out of his abilities.Sad it has come to this. Everybody on this forum was crying out for him for 2 summers straight.
Just offer them £20m for Ugarte then. You just know that PSG are gonna take the piss with a bid of something like 20m. They know how much us and Sancho want to part ways

Plus a one off expense of £40m this year to pay for the consultation on refinancing which led to Ineos buying a stake
Is this right? £40 bloody million for consultation fees? It's enough to make you weep.
Although that had to be borne by the club, I think?£50m interest on Glazer debt
£20m in dividends, as usual

We're fecked because of one reason, really

He had his chances and didn't take them. The standoff with the manager didn't help but was secondary to the fact he wasn't doing shit in the league.Complete opposite now though
If we can get it to thirty or thereabouts we have to do a deal especially as we don't need to replace him since Garnacho and Amad are more than capable of matching and exceeding his nonexistent output. Leaves us with one deadwood less on the books, that's more important by my book than to hold out for a large fee we are never going to get.You just know that PSG are gonna take the piss with a bid of something like 20m. Why will I support a player who has literally failed to perform for 3 years now, he looks a shadow of the player he was at Dortmund. Baffling.I'm not sure if you're either supporting Sancho or just sad how it's turned out - but a quick google of sancho and 'issues' shows a lot
- repeated timekeeping issues at both Dortmund and United (at Dortmund he seemed to get away with it due to his on field performances, not replicated at United)
- 'Not in the right fitness state' in his second season where he was supported by ETH / United and sent out for personal fitness sessions (many perhaps thought it was a mental issue / stress and the support on here and at the club was massive)-
- Fall out with the manager (not many players would survive this at any club but we were stupid enough to put him on a huge salary and couldn't offload
Sometimes things don't work out - the last point I can put down to coach / player differences and that happens. The first two are for me a direct player problem, and not just at United.
Blame is for the majority on the player here in my opinion
I wouldn't put anything past those parasites. It's what I've heard
Anything above 40M and its on or straight swap for Ugarte.
100% this. The rumours of an Antony loan out had me daring to believe for a minute there ..If we manage to sell him and Case it will have been an amazing window!
Sensational if we sold Rashford & Antony as well, but that's not about to happen.
The scouts responsible for recommending Sancho and Antony should all be sacked.I will always remember Sanachk for thing and thing only. Our club spent 2 years trying to get him to secure a right winger for years to come. When he joined he openly admitted he preferred playing on the left. You couldn’t make it up
I wouldn't even care if we went into the season with only garnacho, Amad and Pellistri as wingers if it meant getting those 3 out.If we manage to sell him and Case it will have been an amazing window!

Our net debt including future tranfer fees is 850m, 4 years ago it was 500m. Thats an increase of 350m or 87.5m a year that had nothing to do with the takeover.[
£580 mill in net debt for an entity worth £5 billion is not really that much is it? Of those £680m in borrowings a huge chunk is related to how Glazer decided to get money out of the club.
So I would still be more worried that the club fcuk up P&S than end up insolvent. Because if the club needs cash there should be plenty available.
it’s better to make it Sancho -Ugarte, Rashford - Simons.Stories about Sancho and Bruno heading to PSG and Ugarte and Simons coming in the other direction.
I can't really imagine PSG being that interested by Bruno to be honest. No slight to the player and it's not completely out of order (Portuguese player in Paris is always a good draw) but he seems a little too old for them ?Stories about Sancho and Bruno heading to PSG and Ugarte and Simons coming in the other direction.
Sancho for Ugarte is a deal that improves us enormously. An unneeded winger for a highly rated CM that solves a problem. Reduction in wages paid out too. This would be an amazing deal to happen.
Long term, switching Simons for Bruno also makes sense. A highly rated 21 yr old, on the back of a break out season, for a player about to turn 30 in two months, makes sense, but….Bruno is talismanic for us. Such a hugely influential, brilliant player. From his attitude to his “llegada”. He’s so effective and works really hard. I’d have a really tough time letting him go. That said, Simons looks a huge talent that is only going to get better. Would change how we play too, being better at ball retention (yet worse at other aspects). Mainoo, Ugarte and Simons would be a really interesting, technical midfield.
The main issue with Bruno is that if he doesn’t leave, we are going to need to give him a new contract on bigger wages, one that will probably carry him to 33/34 years old. He wasn’t on my radar at all to sell this summer, but if he becomes an essential part of the package deal with PSG, to essentially switch the four players, it’s an interesting deal with long term implications
Unfortunately I don’t have that power.it’s better to make it Sancho -Ugarte, Rashford - Simons.
Why should he stay while hes so lazy and having bad attitude. We should sell at all costs. He cant eventrain properly and cant be arsed on the pitch what should a player like him be doing in our team? Not against him staying, but if we do intend to sell him, lets fleece PSG for as much as possible.
Look I get being unhappy with the performances of Sancho, Antony and Rashford in recent years, but that is just detached from reality. These players have underperformed but they're not useless. Rashford scored 30 goals in a season not that long ago and Sancho just played a CL final.I wouldn't even care if we went into the season with only garnacho, Amad and Pellistri as wingers if it meant getting those 3 out.
Agree. I’d rather get rid of Antony if we could get a good fee, but that’s not going to happen. Sancho still better than him though.Look I get being unhappy with the performances of Sancho, Antony and Rashford in recent years, but that is just detached from reality. Personally, I would have been quite happy to see Sancho get a clean slate in the team now that we have a competent structure, but the fact is he's surplus to requirements with the other attacking players we have at the club, so if we can get enough for him to help fund the revamping of our midfield, I'd bite your hand off.
Everyone always seemed to say the Glazers made it a commerical club - but is it? Horrid disparity in our cashflowOur net debt including future tranfer fees is 850m, 4 years ago it was 500m. Thats an increase of 350m or 87.5m a year that had nothing to do with the takeover.
If the club would have continued to bleed cash like they have done in the past 4 years we would have ended up in administration, the Glazers didn't sell because they wanted too, they sold because it was their last option.
Just because we have a new minority owner doesn't mean that all the costs they have put on us will dissapear. The tranfer fees will still need to be payed, only in the next 12 months we have 175m to pay in tranfer fees, we are also paying 45m a year in interest, so just tranfer fees and interst costs will add up to 220m in the coming 12 months.
Compare that to our operating cash flow during the last 12 months of 108m and you see that we will need to come up with over 100m in cash from somewhere in the coming year.
