Should've replaced him half time. He's a waste of space against semi decent team, ETH should know it by now.
Such a shame that no club would buy him off us no matter what the pricetag is. He's on mega wage and will likely run down his contract here.
Good news is, Ed Woodward can no longer feck us so we certainly won't extend.

He's a joke. I said after his last performance that he was unreliable and you could almost bet on a stinker and that's exactly what he delivered.

I think he's the worst of the post fergie flops. Not because he's the worst player but because he's the one that represents everything that a Manchester United player shouldn't be.

Weak, slow, unathletic, lazy, quitter and overpaid. Fergie would have killed him with the 50/50 duels that he pulls out of or goes in for half-hearted.

Every game where he has the opportunity to prove his doubters wrong, he shits the bed. Awful awful signing. Get rid!

Some players are not built for the Premier League.

Sancho is one of those. I've said it on the forum on many occasions, but you know for an absolute fact that those in charge in 2021 thought they were signing some sort of flying winger and probably pulled up his G/A stats thinking that's enough to go on.

I'm sure he could go back to Dortmund or another slower league and forge out a very good career but for us, it's not happening.

Another expensive lesson in the ridiculous contract era under Ed Woodward. He can quite easily labour his way for the duration of his contract and take gross pay of £90m. He doesn't have to play better because he would never get more money anyway.

The rawness of a Garnacho, young Ronaldo, young Rashford was/is there to be seen because they obvious have/had the hunger to play for contracts or moves to dream clubs etc. Sancho will never have that.

Although it wasn't his best game, nor was he great I think people have been quite harsh on him.

He was up against Walker which is a poor match-up for Sancho, add to that he spent the majority of the game trying to press the city back three who had easy possession. We also stupidly tried to play long balls onto him at times, arguably the weakest guy on the pitch trying to win headers against Walker/Dias/Stones/Akanji/Rodri

Unfortunately he doesn’t need someone as good as Walker to make him look ineffective.

While I agree, I don't think his suitability is due to the type of player or physical attributes. I think it's purely mental. He's soft and doesn't have fight at all, he has the technique but doesn't like when there's a player on his back. A better mentality and he could succeed here, but that's half the game.

So soft and tame. Has moments of brilliant skill but not sure if he's cut out for this level or if he just doesn't suit our style.

He just isn’t very good. Shows how poor our recruitment is as other teams weren’t interested. Southgate didn’t rate him either.

He had a couple of moments where he could have done something special and instead he fizzled out. I don’t rate him much, if I’m honest with myself. I hate to see a player fail and maybe there’s still time. Better luck next year, fella.

Ten Hag needs to do to him what he did to Maguire. Get an obvious upgrade on him, and use him as a squad player.

In the 2nd half, he had a good opening on the edge of the box but somehow let the ball roll away from him.
One of our most frustrating player for sure

Time to go, he is not someone that can rely on, no courage no heart, may be his little dance in the area work in other league, but obvious not in EPL.

Amad deserve to play, Eth is big fan of Antony, and we have Pellstri waiting on the wing too.

LMF, we have Garnacho and Rashford, we have more than enough wingers in the squad.

I would sell him for 50-60m.

Ruined a few attacks and can't see him doing much better next season. Maybe on the right? Dunno

I can't stand the sight of him. There was a situation in the first half that he ran like 10 meters with a City player he was supposed to mark then absolutely intentionally stopped chasing him and they almost scored. That sums him up as a player for me. Coward with low work rate. Hope we get rid.

I’d sell him for 30m

He plays every game like his mum has just bought him the new kit, and he'll be grounded if he gets it dirty.
Someone said earlier he’s a 5 a side player. Bang on the money.
Good technique, doesn’t run too much, occasional nice piece of skill.
Unfortunately for him football is a physical game. You have to be strong, fast, determined and he is none of those.

Sancho never looked like winning any 50/50. He barely looked like he wanted to contest them either. The physicality of this game left him behind. It was like watching a talented kid playing against grown men at times.
Apt terminology. He plays like he wants no part of the adult game; whatever ‘it’ is supposed to be, he has no appetite for and it’s a very sad watch.

It hasn't worked out for whatever reason. We can't keep sending him on two month long sabbaticals to build up confidence with hope he'll have one and a half decent games as a result. He needs to go

It's not about form. It's about the way his brain works.

For example, I might have an encyclopedic knowledge about every single topic in the world. But if my reaction speeds were slow, I'd never be able to beat even the worst of opponents to the buzzer on the average TV gameshow, despite knowing more than all of them.

By the same token, Sancho might be one of the best in the world at picking out a pass. That's why he was able to rack up the assists in Germany when he was given the freedom to process each situation fully. But in England, he'll never have the time he needs to make it count.

It's one of things that's not a linear correlation. With 70% of the time & space he was afforded at Dortmund, he's only able to pull the trigger quickly enough 10% of the time at United. It's unfortunate, but does mean that Sancho simply isn't cut out for the top level.

There's a lot to like about Jadon, but we need to cut our losses before he loses too much more of his value.
If he was himself, we could draw a direct correlation, but he’s not, and hasn’t been for an age now, so we can’t. Something has gone wrong, and I don’t necessarily think it’s football that is the driver, but we do get to see the fallout.

He is worse than Mkhi and Kagawa and that says something about this fraud

He looked very lean when he came back from The Netherlands, is it just me or is that gone again?
Yeah and he looked much sharper and more focused. A lad I know who works with a few players reckons he was fecked off to Holland to sort his fitness but particularly his diet as he’s eating junk food most days.

Such a shame as he is a talented lad but has feck all application and had his chance now. Time to make some money back on him if possible. I always worried about him playing in the PL before he signed as he never stood out playing for England.

I wanted him here, but he's fecking dreadful.

This can't be another Martial situation where we waste season after season on him expecting a different outcome.

It's time be ruthless for once.

Yep.

For all of the crap we joke about stereotypes from players coming from some leagues in continental Europe an not succeeding in England, I swear that the last thing we would ever see is an Englishman actually sucking even worse than those non-English players. Sancho is the embodiment of all of those tropes.

Kagawa wasn't that bad, his problem was that he was a square peg in a round hole.

Mkhi was mostly anonymous for us, but was a key contributor to our EL-winning campaign.

Now Sancho, on the other hand...

He is an excellent player and will be in another team/system.

Sadly for Manchester United, his strengths do not match up with the current system played under ten Hag. Sancho excels as a tip-of-the-sword winger, making penetrative runs and using his quick mind & feet to execute killer passes and goals. The system Liverpool play or the old Sane/Sterling Manchester City system would have been a dream for him.

In the Manchester United system, wingers are required to take up deeper average positions and get involved in the build up play far more. This is not where Sancho thrives and those situations make him appear ponderous and even disengaged. This in turn saps his confidence and his ability to even execute his stronger points when he has the chance to use them.

I mean is he on borrowed time? I hope he is but he keeps getting games and he keeps being shit so it would seem the powers that be are content with him? I'd love to see him farmed out next season but it seems we have so few options in attacking positions that he's going to be allowed to stink the place out for at least another 2 seasons.

I'm sure he's a nice lad but he just does not seem up for the fight. When your teams behind and you need a player to drive the team forward, he's just not the guy.

I haven't seen a player get tackled so easy as Sancho.

I was watching the game and thinking the same. We don't start Garnacho because he gets pushed off the ball too easily and is fairly lightweight but then Sancho was letting the same thing happen to him like he was 18 years old.

He is a pussy as simple as that, does not have the balls to impact the game and is always shrinking the responsibility, even for one on ones he chooses to pass, because he does not have the bottle. He is not ruthless, he is weak and pathetic with his challenges, Garnacho showed him in those 15 minutes. He needs to be sold to Dortmund or any other German club. Just recoup whatever we can get for him and get a winger who can run and attack his player, We should try for Sane or Coman from Bayern.

He is a shite and coward player stealing a living from the club.
