Not suited to the Prem. No intensity what do ever. Would flourish in La Liga. We didn’t profile correctly. We spent almost 200m on 2 wingers who can’t attack with pace. Crazy.

There is no dog in him, an extreme example of a fair weather player. Very talented but no edge.
How is he talented? What qualities does he bring to this United side? Hell, any Premier League side.

His only decent moment came just before he was subbed, when he was moved to the left.

Listen, I'm not sticking up for him or anything. We need to move on in the summer. I just think it's a little unfair to criticise him when played out of position. That's on EtH for me.
He's not had one game were I thought there is a player there. His best performances have been average at best and today proves we need to sell.

Anthony gets a lot of shite thrown at him due to his price tag, but sancho has proven to be worse and less of a goal threat

He is so scared of getting hurt. Pulls out of every duel.

Losing faith pretty rapidly.

Not cut out for this league at all. Whatever talent he showed at Dortmund he clearly doesn't have it anymore. He's had long enough. Time to use other options in the starting lineup, maybe he can do bits off the bench in some games until we can somehow get rid.

I agree pal.

Right up there with Maguire now for our worst ever transfer (when you factor in the prices paid)

I was never a huge Pogba fan but I'd even take Pogba over Sancho. At least he did have the occasional world class game. Sancho is a nothing player. The bundesliga must be equivalent to our English Championship for Werner, Havertz and Sancho to look so good there.

Antony not far behind either. Another very poor signing.

He's a bust, two seasons is more than enough to come to a conclusion

I think the club could still get 40 million or so if we sell in the summer

At least maguire looked semi decent when he arrived, sancho hasn't offered anything other than hope after a 3 month lay off

Good touch, excellent at interplay, nice weight of pass when threading balls through, good composure in his finishing. It is not enough for what we need him to be but I think the mental side is his main problem, just doesn't have it.

He does nothing, has nothing.

No speed, aggression, vision, desire.

Maybe he is played in wrong position, was he scouted before blowing all that money.

Hag playing him here, there and everywhere (in the attacking third) pretty much says it all.
Dont know what to do with him and for good reason.

Yep. I've run out of patience, sorry. End this agony in the summer. Nowhere near suited for this level.

I was at the game today and he looked the worst player on the pitch. He’s so soft and didn’t really offer anything. Just looks like he doesn’t really care sometimes.

He's a tourist. That's all I can say.

he's there to take the selfies at the end of the game. In fact, he may even be taking some during the game since he's always seems so lost, who knows...

Really? Honestly, I haven't see any of those attributes in him that are beyond that of an average lower league footballer. You could have Norwich's Onel Hernandez or Sunderland's Patrick Roberts putting out the same output as him.

Yea, he is hopeless. Should try to sell in the summer, he is English after all, should still attract some attention from the PL clubs.

If this was about garnacho I would agree, but I have no idea how you can say this about him. He's been a truly awful signing. I'm just thankful we never spent 100million in the first year we chased him

This guy is super talented and could be a world beater. Without a doubt he is the most gifted and talented player in our squad. But what i don’t understand is why is his fitness so poor? 2 years on in this league and he still look gassed after a single duel or a burst. The intensity in which wingers like mitoma and martinelli plays is night and day when compared to him. Its sad as Jadon walks over both of them when it comes to talent and natural ability.

Not possible due to high wages unless you want the club to pay for 60% of his wages like it happened with the Rooney to Everton deal

We will never win the league again until we employ a first class recruitment team. I'd get rid of the lot and start again.

The people who negotiated his deal should be questioned for mass corruptuon...not so much the fee but the reported wage.

I can see why he doesn't bother switching it on. He doesn't have to.

The online abuse and threats were and will always be bang out of order. But simply calling him out on being a coward in possession and soft is perfectly acceptable. Garnacho can be trash as can any 18 year old, but you still feel like he's tried as much as he possibly can.

I have yet to see this mythical talent on display even for just a single game. Not once. It's been 18 months. Makes perfect sense to me for Ten Hag to give him an ultimatum. Some players just don't work in this league. Especially with players like Garnacho right on his heels.

So how much longer do I have to wait, you reckon?

End this agony in the summer.

People saying in the match day thread that he isn't fit is ridiculous because he always looked pretty much the same player for us physically, except in some periods he scored more goals. I think we should really stop with that excuse.

Pogba was easily better signing, and I guess Antony will be too, and we know how overpriced both of them are. I'd say he is easily our worst transfer of all times, especially because he didn't struggle with injuries that much and expectations were far lower unlike for our other expensive signings that we expected to transform the team. I mean, even Maguire had one very good season, and is fit all the time.

Seems like a top guy though, probably most likeable out of our any expensive signing, so hopefully he finds his luck somewhere.

Edit: not blaming him for today's game btw, we were down to ten and it's not easy to play like that.

His time should be up unless he drastically turns it around until the end of the season. He just isn't showing nearly enough. Terrible shame.

I don't rate him and never understood the hype, always lacked the explosive qualities in terms of speed, penetration and aggression that I want in a winger, but technically he is very good. His timidity and the physical flaws stop those skills from ever being as valuable as could be.

He's playing like Pogba. Waltzes around the pitch at his own pace, losing balls, not applying himself or showing any form of desire or urgency. That just doesn't cut it in the Prem.

Maguire has contributed far more than Sancho, it isn't really close either.

This is how I see it.

He doesn't have the fight in him. He clearly needs it at the moment, and that is what is found wanting.

I only got to see the first half properly, but he doesn't have enough intensity for me, pulls out of 1vs1s and we can't afford to have two players (Antony) who can't beat a man.

He has such great other attributes, but we need more from him.

Remember when people convinced themselves he was going to go away for 3 months and come back a completely different player? Good times. He is what he is. And that’s simply not good enough.

Cut our losses in the summer and hope someone is stupid enough to take on his ridiculous wages. Add it to the ever growing list of expensive flops. Our recruitment team really is in a class of its own.

Is he that talented though? He is a good dribbler, but not really that threatening in open space - Rashford and Garnacho look much more threatening when in similar situations to him. Passing? Again, solid, but far from anything special, certainly not comparable to any elite creators. Not really anything special in terms of crossing or shooting either. He is good at quick passes and link ups, but he is so far below average in terms of any physicality and effort in duels while not offering enough to make up for that major trade off.
