His ability to switch positions, may just swing it. Could be a starter in the next game.
He didn't disappoint. He's got great intelligence - one of the things that really frustrated me last season was how poor our decision making was in the final third.

If there was a world league, England would win it simply because of the bench strength.
He's going to be a game changer in our attack. Too many of them hold onto the ball for too long or run into dead ends or try to force the killer ball - not with Sancho. He'll make good decisions, he'll liven up the play, he'll get us in better positions more frequently and give the others around him more space to do their thing as he draws others out of position.

I think his teammates were not using him well enough for the game last night, Walker didn't support him much on that right side, even when he was in space the pass to him wasn't quick enough to get him either 1v1 with a Ukrainian defender as i do feel he fancies himself even 2 on 1... Can't wait for the season to begin.

I think there was a massive effort at grass roots about 15 years ago after the Golden Generation ultimately failed and started getting old. I remember it being touted as the same thing the Spanish and Germans had done to revamp their national side. Seems to have worked, there’s a lot of good young English players coming through who are much more technical than previous generations.
Also helps when you’ve got a manager that doesn’t try to fit all these players into a flat 442.
You know its not impossible that he ends up keeping Rashford and Martial out of the side, while James and Greenwood remain on the right...
I don't mind interchangeable front wingers, as long as Sancho is mostly on the right.
Want us to play our best players. Which are Sancho, Cavani, Mason, Rashford. If two of those are playing minimum then happy days. Hopefully three of them most the time.

Dont discount Martial in my opinion. Had a poor season last year but so did many in the league

To be fair to Martial. Maybe revert him back to a wide forward. Compete with Rashford on the left. Cavani/ Greenwood up top. Sancho on the right.
I think he can compete for wide left and CF. Its only the season before he scored a bag of goals as our CF

Can't see it. I think he's done at united...he's never kicked on at best or even regressed. If he looked arsed I may be convinced that he had a chance of getting back on track but as it is I just don't see it.
