Sort of. Personally, I don’t think we can simply extrapolate what he’s produced at Dortmund and immediately paste it into the PL with United. In fact, I expect some initial struggle. Which makes him a little more similar to the others, potentially for the first year. Only with loads of games willnhe get up speed, but I don’t expect much immediately. And because of this, I can’t help wonder what the same loads of games would do for Greenwood and Amad. All three of these are young players. 20 games is all it takes one to pass another, I focus more on ability and ingredients than achievement at this age. Because a player has played 60 games less at 18 doesn’t really mean much. He just hasn’t started yet. I remember getting into a debate last summer with someone on here who I can’t recall, who was insisting to me that Williams was better than Laird simply because he’s played and Laird hasn’t. Which at 19 years old each, is not that relevant. None of their stories have been written yet.
Ooh ok i get where you are coming from, Sancho's experience in BL wouldn't guarantee he would be up to speed with PL immediately (he might but not guaranteed).
For Amad, i truly think he was brought in with an eye to the future, he is immensely talented and was available so the club decided to bring him in, and Sancho is being brought in to improve the first squad immediately, at least this what i think the club is planning.
