It's probably good for us if he isn't playing. Price isn't going to increase due to stellar performances and he'll probably be that much more motivated to move to an English club to put himself in the showcase for more regular minutes with the national team.

I get not starting him as he's been poor whenever he's played for England, but to not bring him at all? Crazy.

He is not going to get any chance with Southgate. He is like the backup for the backup in England.

I trusted Southgate decision with the reason maybe he is not good enough.

But after the Scotland match , he cant play worse then Kane , Sterling , Rashford. That's impossible

Southgate is a hugely unproven manager. Why anyone would trust his judgement is mind boggling.

It's not too surprising, he's never been very good for England. As good as he can be leaving Grealish out is the bigger shock, he's the better player. The RW should be contested by the rest.

He has been as good for England as Jack and Foden have been but those 2 get hyped for the league form and Jadon doesn't

Sancho could end up like Kagawa, Sanchez, Di Maria or Mikhi. Ever since Ferguson left United play very static offensively, the system seems to be the problem rather than the players.

He should just withdrawn from the squad. Southgate is a clown, looking at Sterling stinking up the place game after game and is treated like he’s untouchable. To not even get minutes from the bench is embarrassing for Southgate.

I ain't paying £50m for this scrub if he ain't good enough to come on for England .... JadOn(the bench).

But then again, in all seriousness, please don't be some saviour either.

The amount of stick Grealish has got, maybe best he didn’t come on.
Unless you don’t score a hatrick, your a fraud, according to everyone on redcafe.

I can't stand Sterling. Feels like a type of player who has fluked a career using pace. Also comes across like an arrogant prick.

You have great faith in Southgate even lasting that long…

The FA love him, us getting out of the group stage will be enough to keep him in the job I think sadly. Unless the public properly turn on him, which I think is likely.

anyway, Sancho will be home soon, that's all that matters.

Doesn’t look like he’s going to kick a ball in the Euro’s so least his transfer fee won’t get inflated.

What's he done to Southgate?

Insane to think a player this productive has not even got a little run out.

It really is funny that Southgate is treating the Bundesliga like it's the championship. Idiot.

It’s insane. Sancho has 3 20+ G/A seasons in a row! I tried thinking of an equivalent in the PL not starting for their NT when they’re so obviously good enough but there’s no examples to even think of…

Now that media will focus on Sancho, Southgate will play him in next game. Just taking decisions based on media scrutiny.

I'm not sure about that, nothing about Southgate's selections have suggested he is pandering.

There's hardly a man in the country that doesn't pick Grealish, doesn't play Sancho at all even as a sub, and plays Tripper at left back.

He seems to take his very own brand of peculiar decisions.

I can't stand Sterling. Feels like a type of player who has fluked a career using pace. Also comes across like an arrogant prick.

Isn't this Theo Walcott to a tee, well maybe not so much the arrogance part, I don't know. But Sterling's got more to him, he's just bang out of form..... but loyalty persists in managers as both Pep and Southgate stick with him despite other in form options....loyalty that's not paying out for either in the past couple months.

Think we'll see more of Sancho for England as another throw of the dice.

Thing with England is leading up to the tournament Grealish nor Sancho have not been properly integrated into the team and performances and selections have been a real mess, on one hand it's surprising not to see Sancho but on the other it isn't due to the random nature of the buildup and Sancho's own performances and England requiring individual moments and set pieces to get by.

With a bit more space England like United could really counter well.

yeah he does come off as as arrogant especially after that question from the ITV interviewer at he end of the Croatia game. She asked him if he felt he had justified his place in the starting eleven and he looked at here like she was mocking him for even asking it. He really does think a lot of himself.

Quite simply should be starting every game for England. The only forward in the squad who is fully comfortable on the right. It should have been Sancho and Greenwood competing for a starting place, with Foden, Grealish, Rashford and Sterling vying for a place on the left.

That's exactly the interview I had in mind. There are more examples of this.
