This all started when I stated we haven't had a winger like Perisic since Nani showed some form for a season and a bit. You came in all high and mighty telling me I had severe memory loss bla bla bla.
Nani at 26 was sent on loan to SCP and we subsidised his wages. There was such a shortage of takers that we basically gave him away to Fenerbahce a season after. At 27 he was playing in the Turkish league and had a buyout clause of about £7.8m which a struggling Valencia activated.
I just stated the obvious. Perisic has never had a season as good as Nani at the highest level. Not even close.

I agree he was decent. Decent isn't good enough for a great club like Manchester United though, hence why he was sold for a very low fee.
