Bernardo Silva just went for £43 million and we're doing business like this.
For all we know we went for Silva and he turned us down. It's not as striaght forward as it seems this transfer lark.

Why would he be lined up on the right tho?If Perisic ( normally on the left) lines up on the right, where i would expect Silva to play, it would explain a lot
'Is the Transfer forum safe to go into yet?'
I think he'd cost a bit more. If B. Silva was sold for 50m + 20m euros, then I think Lemar would be 40 + 20/15.

I refuse to believe Jose Mourinho, with an almost unlimited budget, after seeing the shit show that is our attack this season, had fecking Perisic as his first choice signing. Feck it, I don't see him even being second choice.
We're getting relegated lads
Stop being so salty
That would seem about fair, Lemar is already twice the player Peresic is and a lot younger.
Our new left back?
Mourinho could probably make him into a decent attacking left back,
Makes zero sense to have him on the wing with Martial and Rashford there.
If we're siging Perisic (which looks more and more likely), I have to seriously question Mourinho's judgment on this and his vision for the team. Super underwhelming signing to say the least.
Perfectly sound logic, so calm down.

I think were playing 3 at the back and he's signed to play in Darmians position as left back. Everybody needs to calm the feck down. Ive never seen such a wave of self entitlement like this on a forum for a long time. Our new left back?

Who do you think was 1st choice? As I've said, I find it very hard to believe Perisic was high up on his list. This reeks of a backup signing.
Mourinho scouted him constantly throughout the season - it was quite widely reported. He was even at a Croatia game during the season. He doesn't seem to be a back-up signing if he's set to be signed so early. As I've said, I find it very hard to believe Perisic was high up on his list. This reeks of a backup signing.
Nah we're loaded, Mourinho could just instruct Woodward to bid crazy money all summer on anyone in the world. The position perhaps isn't a priority as Martial, Mkhitaryan, Rashford, Lingard and Mata can all play out wide but Perisic will give us something different there. As I've said, I find it very hard to believe Perisic was high up on his list. What's next, Gaitan?
I can't, I'm scared, hold me
You get the point.Probably Garay
At least we seem to be getting ourselves a poor man's Robben. Not even his youtube compilations are exciting.
This is the most anti-muppet start to a transfer window. Going from the excitement of Silva and Griezmann to Perisic.
An Inter fan friend of mine saying they have a great shot at signing James, Di Maria, Bernardeschi and Berardi. Makes sense that they're shipping Perisic out if that's the case.
