That would seem about fair, Lemar is already twice the player Peresic is and a lot younger.

I don't particularly rate perisic but he does give some of that width without cutting in that Jose always does like. There isn't many doing that on the wings & if there is- players like douglas Costa are way too skillful/complicated to tick the boxes for Jose.
Hopefully Mourinho sees it similarly.

As I've said, I find it very hard to believe Perisic was high up on his list. This reeks of a backup signing.

Calm down guys, maybe Jose is just doing a favour to Moratti. Perisic is probably just a rotation option so we don't end up like this season.
He's a good player, stop being so over dramatic. There's too much of people supporting specific players rather than the club. Silva might be utter shite for City no one knows. We weren't interested in him it would appear so hardly worth mentioning him, I trust Mourinho in the transfer market and we've apparently been looking at Perisic since late last year.

Mourinho scouted him constantly throughout the season - it was quite widely reported. He was even at a Croatia game during the season. He doesn't seem to be a back-up signing if he's set to be signed so early.

Nah we're loaded, Mourinho could just instruct Woodward to bid crazy money all summer on anyone in the world. The position perhaps isn't a priority as Martial, Mkhitaryan, Rashford, Lingard and Mata can all play out wide but Perisic will give us something different there.

An Inter fan friend of mine saying they have a great shot at signing James, Di Maria, Bernardeschi and Berardi. Makes sense that they're shipping Perisic out if that's the case.

yep, I just went through his season "highlights" for 15/16 & 16/17. I am hopping that this is one of those where I completely get a player wrong and he surprises me but I have to say from what I have seen from what is supposed to be a montage of your best moments on the pitch he looks utter gash.
Basically Juve's been linked with all these players I think. Maybe they can sweep up the crumbs.
