Their CL success the last decade has been a success but with the money they spent they won what 4 or 5 la liga out of the last 15? No where near good enough they are only competing with one team not 6 like in England.

Let's even say that José is desperate for experience, why not throw in something at Sanchez? The lack of plan B on this guy is more intriguing than anything. This kind of desperation is what I expect to see for players of elite quality. All we can do is wait and see.
Explained several time in different discussion regarding Alexis. If he's coming, it would mean the end of Martial, perhaps Rashford too. With time he has become more of forward & want to be served than serving. For example, instead of getting winger to offer width, now we need to upgrade left back so Sanchez is free to drift inside. We have to buy right winger & limit gametime for our love to drift inside wide players on the right wing. Lukaku would need to play the decoy role more...

La Liga being arguably the more difficult of the two.

Interesting view.

5 out of the last 15 - interestingly enough in those 15 years 4 different teams have won. In the same period in England 5 teams have won it including Leicester's freak season. The Spanish European competition dominance also hints towards their general league strength no? This argument that La Liga only has two good teams is hilariously misguided.

The hatred for Real Madrid really makes some people blindly reject reason. They're a good team who have had success and have a good foundation for further success; admitting this doesn't make you any less of a United fan.

Signing him and with Rooney leaving , Mata will flourish as 10. Probably as good as Mata of chelsea !

I'll tell you, if you don't mind. If Ivan plays 69 games as Messi and Ronaldo combining, and one game like Bebe, everybody will forget about those 69 games, and bitch and moan about that one! Whatever he does, it wont be enough for RC Managers, because he is old, too expensive, not flashy enough and not galactico. For example, Schweinsteiger was old enough, cheap, big name, and everybody here was so happy. (me too, tbh) When he left, they cried, because we lost a legend??? They would rather have Costa or James, because they are soooo much better, that is why they clubs wanted to get rid. Oh, no, they replied in anger, they wanted to get rid because they have wrong attitude, whiny little bitches they are. And remote control managers want those kind of players at ManUtd! Same people who, during match, bitch and moan about our players when they think they are not trying hard enough, and are fine with Januzaj leaving for the exact same reason, but as I said before cried when Bastian left. He was trying very hard, yes, to book flight to Miami. Same Einsteins who only remember Fellainis penalty (Everton) and red card (City), everything else, it does not matter, what he did, how he played, they cannot stand the guy from the start, he was marked.

Don't be so dramatic.. How is anyone supposed to take you seriously when you're so obviously exaggerating. It's pretty clear that if you perform well on a consistant basis you'll get the recognition you deserve on here, no one will care how much you cost, how old you are etc, and there are many examples of this, Rojo perhaps being the prime one.

They have won as many European cups in 4 years as we have won in our entire history.

And some claim it's not success? Seriously?

Well how can one be that sure, it also would imply that if Alexis moves to city it will be the end of sane and Sterling in City?

Martial is a versatile player who can also play on the right, or in a front 2 and rashford can play as a back up striker.

Alexis should not mean the end of martial one bit.

Think this is only days away. I think it'll be round the 45mil mark.

I think we are getting a good player. I know we are paying way too much.

I also know that we need natural width, and he will provide this. I fear Perisic is being written off before he has even signed, which is a shame. Lets give the guy a chance, our left side was woeful last year with Martial off form, Rashford not being a natural out there/learning the position and Lingard just being Lingard.

Rotation of Martial/Perisic will be good for us, just need to get over the price and get behind him

I think Ranieri signed him

Hmm, you seem to be underrating Pandev and Callejon, both would improve our team right now, and like you say Malouda was very good after Mou left.

Also that list is padded out heavily by second rate players who clearly weren't big money, first team signings. I think his record is very 50/50, it's unfair to name players like Ben Sahar, Atsu and Baba (not even a winger?) and then claim he has a poor record with wingers.
Callejon started 21 league games over 2 seasons. So when Jose signed him, he didn't do much for him. I'm not interested in laying foundations. Pandev was also very limited and didn't produce anywhere near enough for a winger, especially in a side like ours that does not score goals. To be fair, Malouda was solid and Jose was unfortunate to get the sack before they got to work together, Kalou was an excellent back up as I said. If we removed the back ups, then its 15 wing signings and 3/4 that were good enough. possibly even less. Pandev scored 3 goals all season. I even have doubts over yours and my ratings of Willian as a winger. I mean he bagged 4 goals in his opening 2 seasons for Jose and has had one really respectable season (2016). His other seasons have been overhyped. I don't regard him a key player for any of the seasons that Jose was there.

Sheeet

Also, how the hell do you embed those damn things?

What are Inter fans saying? Can they not believe their luck with the fee or do they not want him to go?

Inter president says it's not happening, they won't even consider bids for him. Looks like it could be off.

Most seem to not want him to go. Then again, i figure it's mostly a coping mechanism for dealing with last 6 seasons, they built him up into something he's not. Kinda like united fans with De Gea

Missed chances, he looks fantastic and rapid in these Videos.

Jesus how bad are Inters strikers? Not a single goal in that clip and he put it on a plate numerous times.

Take his assist record and triple it for a decent side scoring goals, Lukaku would have a field day.

He looks to be the perfect Jose winger, the only downside is the price to age ratio which is way off.

You have to take that with a pinch of salt to be honest, playing in that Bayern team vs the Inter team last season would have been night and day in terms of the quality of players around you, the way teams would set up to play against you and roles they would have had within their teams.

Amortization, price means feck all.
If we could lower his wages(120-135k/week) he would still represent a good deal.

You could make a 90 seconds Januzaj highlight reel and he would look like a good player. Consistency is key, especially for a 28/29 year old
He isnt my first choice or second for that matter, but look like he is jose's first so we have to accept and look at the possitives.

Hmm..

Option A - Ivan Perisic (Summer '17)

Option B - Ivan Perisic (January '18)

Option C - Let our attackers duke it out  and see who wants it the most. (Martial, Mkhi, Lingard, Pereira, Mata, Rashford)

Option D - Some unknown player.

Personally..
I'm fine with combining options C & B.
Testing and giving enough chances to our players before Jan '18 to prove themselves. Perisic Jan next year is both a security and improvement. Inter is playing hardball anyway, let 'em have problems keeping an unhappy player. By next Jan, if they still refuse to sell.. that would be bad business.

Downside...
May not won EPL this season and gloryhunters will get pissed. Sack Mourinho.

I have a feeling there is more going on behind the scene's. I no longer think it's simply bargaining over a few million. I think he's our back up target, we may be waiting to see the outcome of another target. It feels a bit like the Morata deal this. We have bid for him and we may end of buying him, it's dragging way to long for me. The money Inter are demanding is hilarious. Premier league teams are paying way over the odds this window. If we had negotiated with Real for James you know that deal wouldn't have been as good.
