Palestinian sources reported Thursday that senior Hamas member Ayman Taha had not been killed as a result of IDF attacks on Saja'yya, but was executed after being accused of spying for Egypt. Earlier it was reported that his body was recovered from the ruins in Saja'iyya.

Only solution to the whole thing is for Israel to move to a state in the USA someday. I know Jerusalem etc is a very sacred and important place for Jews and in fairness to the Israelis - Israel was just a mosquito infested swamp when they were given the land by the UN after WW2.
But the Palestinians are pretty primitive people and primitive people when brain washed with religion are a complicated animal altogether and no matter how much extra land the Israelis give them back - then they are going to keep shooting endless rockets at the Israelis as Palestinians will only be happy until the Jews have completely left Israel and if the Palestinians ever achieve that feat then it's probably likely that the Palestinians will find another neighbor to go to war with soon afterwards over something else.
Anyways what were the UN thinking in the first place by giving the Jews land that belonged to Palestinians after WW2? Obviously the UN, influenced by the USA wanted a foothold in the Arab world. Why didn't they just give the Jews a state in the USA instead to be their new home? That would have resolved the whole mess.....The whole situation is ridiculous

I agree it's a much more politically correct term...but in this world some things are just what they are and words like 'radicalized' don't emphasize enough the root of the issue.....only the Jews and Muslims can resolve this conflict themselves if they are both willing to meet in the middle.....but both sides are obviously 100 years away in personal evolution from being ready for that compromise due to certain factors

If I offend people who find something in dinosaur religions then I apologize....I am not against Religion as such....I think it's important to have faith...But I also strongly believe that the religions that brain wash these poor simple people of places like Israel and Palestine are already around 500 years past their sell by date on this earth...and the longer people hold onto these paths, the longer there will be blood despite these ancient religious paths having a good side to them also
There's only 2 ways this conflict can be resolved
1. If Israel decide they have had enough and move the whole country to the USA which won't happen anytime soon
2. If the Palestinians just say to themselves 'You know what, we have enough land here already, let's just let those buggers have the land after all and forget about it
But both sides are 100 years away from being evolved enough to be able to come to these types of realizations and as long as they keep getting told from kindergarten upwards that their religion is the only true chosen religion of God then that deep rooted hatred for their neighbors will continue to thrive

Well I think all major organized religions had their chance to show if they were the way to go on earth and all have failed....I for one don't see the need to be around a Catholic priest every Sunday to say a prayer.....I've never heard of a Buddhist butchering their neighbor because their neighbors religion was not good enough....It's obvious that the days of the present heavy weight religions are numbered as they have too many out-dated beliefs such as believing their path is the only way and not allowing women to drive cars on Tuesdays if there was a full moon the night before ......you know those crazy beliefs that still exist in some primitive places and that all gays should be butchered. Then you hear about those gay orgie parties by priests working at the Vatican and then they are in mass the next day condemning gays as against God etc.....I think we're at crossroads with where to go next with all of this...I don't have al the answers sorry but I do know an out-dated religion when I see one

Surely if you agree to a 72 hour ceasefire it's supposed to mean you intend for the ceasefire to last that long regardless of whether you come to an agreement or not? As in you wait until the end of the 72 hours and then say "no agreement could be reached so attacks will now resume".
Yet this ceasefire was broken a few hours early. It's not really important in the grand scheme of things but I don't see the point in breaking the ceasefire you've agreed to a few hours before it's going to come to an end anyway.
Maybe the point was to try and land a few shots before the other guy? A bit like throwing a punch after the bell rings to end the round.
of course it doesnt make sense. In general it doesnt make sense to shoot rockets at people, so I guess reason is out the window anyway. Israel says that Hamas broke the ceasefire and Hamas says that Israel broke it. I honestly dont care which version is right, because it doesnt matter.
Why do you have to involve yourself if other people can't behave themselves just because they wear the same fancy badge as yourself?....best thing to do is ignore a street fight when it breaks out. The fight obviously broke out in the first place because the two involved were not able to resolve an issue in a peaceful respectful manner. If you want to be a true shepherd then go and live with people that are able to behave themselves and who choose to live a peaceful life. Violence or retaliating with violence is never the answer even if some cavman religion tells you it is. Of course you have to protect your family with violence if an intruder comes into your house at night but if an intruder a few nights before broke into the house of a family that lives 10 miles away that you don't know personally then it's none of your business to resolve the issue. It's their problem to deal with. What is happening with both the Israelis and Palestinians is their issue to resolve even if some ancient cavman religion tells you that they are your brothers that you need to fight for. They are not your brothers...they are people who have been given an option to continue with war or to come to a compromise to have peace and every time they choose to continue with war because they have not evolved enough as humans to understand how to live in a peaceful world yet....Their out dated religions tell them that their evil neighbors have to be wiped out....so it's their issue to resolve,not yours despite some ancient book falsely leading you to believe otherwise. Only when these people learn to evolve and learn how to behave themselves on both sides can a compromise take place and both sides are 100 years away from being evolved enough for this.....The reason Europe had endless wars, torture and chaos hundreds of years ago yet has much more peace these days is because the people evolved enough to learn how to come to compromises with their neighbors without having to butcher and torture each other every time they came to a disagreement over religion or land ownership
