We just dont seem to use the "Wing playmaker" type of players, unless he was bought to be used as a attacking midfielder but usually the wing playmakers suit more 4-3-3 systems, which we rarely seem to use recently.

In the last 3 transfer windows we have tried to sign Ozil, Sanchez, Hazard and Lucas, I think Fergie sees the changing of the tide and is looking to bring in this type of player.

If he was enslaved by Juanfran, of Atletico Madrid, but was given the night off, during which I went out on the lash with him and Joe Hart... and at the point when I called it a night Hart had begun bumming him... then I could legitimately spend the bus ride home singing "I left Joe Hart in Juanfran's Isco".

Not a particularly likely series of events, perhaps... but well worth flagging up.

An assist for the second goal I believe - first time I've seen him play.

Lol! My God, how did this not even get one appreciative comment?!?

He played well tonight, overdid it on a couple of occasions and needs to improve his finishing, but the talent is clear to see, all of Malaga's best play came through him.

Looked very good.

For the money being quoted could be a bargain for someone willing to take a risk.

According to Ballague during last night's Real/Getafe game, Spurs have made an offer for Isco that was turned down.

Brilliant.

Hugely talented. He's going to show himself to be a fantastic player if he gets a move to a bigger club. Very technically gifted and lots of imagination.

Tonights Malaga game is the first time I've really watched him, and he's been really impressive.

Nope once these up and coming players get to the european stage and perform they are usually already to pricey for us. Same reason we couldnt compete for rumoured target Martinez, and most likey Munian soon.

Ahhh, I remember the 'United in for 15m Martinez' reports a few years back!

Quality goals. Havent watched Malaga this season but it seems like Isco has already taken on the main man mantle from Cazorla. National team call up cant be far off

Got two quality goals for Malaga tonight. Really like the look of him. He's gonna be great.

See you'd think that but then you remember that he's Spanish and has to displace players like Iniesta, David Silva, Fabregas, David Villa amongst others.. He's just a bit unfortunate basically.

He is really talented but there is no way we will be in for him because we have Rooney and Kagawa who play in his position.

Are we going try to sign him for 30m next summer, after missing our opportunity this time round? Perhaps he is too Spanish for us anyway.

Where'd he play for us exactly?
Do we just buy players for the sake of it now?
