Internationals September (World Cup Qualifiers)

Well that's UK rules so you probably know better than me, but I guess they have to quarantine.
the players are Emiliano Martínez, Emiliano Buendía (Aston Villa), Cristian Romero y Giovani Lo Celso (Tottenham)
Romero the new signing. That is going to go down well.

I think there's going to be a lot of finger pointing on this one but for me I just dont understand how Paul Pogba didnt sort this out.

He's on 700,000 a week and cant even navigate geo-politics and world outbreak litigation. Definition of a luxury player :rolleyes::rolleyes:

any footage of the what's being talked about here regarding Brazil vs Argentina?

Jackpot for Chelsea, they play Villa and Spurs back to back on the return to normal football.

Oh so Argentina just tried to brazen it out and refused to cooperate?
Yes. And the 4 players lied when arrived in Brazil, didn't tell they came from the UK. Anvisa discovered and tried to get the players, Argentina refused at all times to cooperate.

Anvisa was not wrong, but the way it was done was the worst possible. But mostly because of Argentina.

Those sneaky argentinians managed to trick the authorities. Luckily my own private detective sent me this picture of Emiliano Buendia on UK soil from August 28th. I fully trust my guy, he's not lying.

Each country has the right to make utterly illogical moronic decisions, yes. I agree on the UK being morons also.
Aye all of them morons, injecting those Bill Gates funded chips into them so they can be controlled through 5G! It’s a conspiracy I tell ye!

So in summary Argentina lied to the clubs to get the players, lied to Brazilian authorities about any being in the U.K. the last 14 days and then when found out tried to hide the players in the locker rooms so they couldn’t stop them playing…top quality shithousery
I would guess the Villa and Spurs DEMANDED that, even if the sold it as an agreement, by fifa rules the players must be released... it has no sense for Argentina to make an agreement an break it

WTH some people are talking. They were in Argentina before going to play against Venezuela. Then they traveled to Brazil where they have been for 3 days.

This is plain stupid from Brasil authorities.
It is not. It could all be avoided, but as always Argentina is shitting on Brazil as rules don't apply to them.

Who's the commentator on Premier Sports? He has a familiar voice and I like his stories.

Which is completely bullshit. They went to the hotel and the locker room, Argentina refused to play and said of they went for the players they wouldn't play at all.

Before the game, they locked the doors. Can you imagine a feckery like that?
Even if that is true, surely they could have prevented the match from starting instead of doing it midway through? For instance, they could intervene to prevent them from getting into the stadium or the dressing room. It's farcical to intervene after the match had started. Maybe they calculated that Brazil will be awarded the match once it starts and then gets abandoned.

CONMEBOL washed their hands... telling this is all FIFA stuff and World cup qualifiers is not their responsibility
The match is off, result will be decided by FIFA on the desks... football lost today

Just awesome.

Don't get that in boring old Europa.

Yes it happens.

You had Nice fas throwing objects at Marseille players.

Plus russian hooligans vs english hooligans destroying cities between their clashes

Super entertaining.

This is just bonkers.

Firstly, how the hell well these players allowed passed passport control? I mean, it is pretty obvious they were the Agentina National team. I quick google check would've told the authorities who was from England. Then how comes it took three days for the penny to drop? No way did Brazil only realise five minutes into the game.

Second, why would Argentina do this? Qualification in SA is also assured for them as essentially 5 qualify for 10. No need for them to worry about one game, whilst there is also the fact that they broke the laws of a country they entered.

Only in South American football would you get this nonsense.

I think CONMEBOL might have given Argentina assurances beyond their means too...
I heard they told Brasil that if the players couln't play, the points will be given to Argentina

The rules are clear.. Argentina have to take full responsibility for this..
Brazil could have made it clear to someone from the Argentina management that the players were ineligible .. but its not their responsibility.. Argentina had to know.. they tried to field ineligible players.

I admire the commitment to absolute bullshit from both sides.
I read about this two days ago and wasn’t even looking for it, so Argentina knew the rules.

Brazil could’ve told them at the airport, yesterday, pre kickoff… “you four can’t come in/cant play”.

Both being stupid.

But the bigger question is “who designed that bling Argentina top and ruined a classic.”?

I dont know how brazil is doing it.. but here you have to sign a self declaration saying you havent been to any flagged countries in the last 14 days.. If the players didnt declare it, they'll get through the security.. and should be charged for lying...

Think FIFA will give Brazil a 3-0 walkover victory. Really hurts CONMEBOL's credibility, especially after they assured Argentina they'd be able to play or get the points.

Well of course they have, everyone knew that days ago, the Argentian FA knew it, the Brazilian FA knew it.

Itll be a bit much if Brazil say “sorry, we take Covid seriously” because (i) why did you let them in and not make sure they went into quarantine? and (ii) no you don’t.

One of the biggest international games in world football and it looks like The Keystone Cops are in charge
