India vs. Australia

Kumble announces retirement with immediate effect!

Last test starts tomorrow. I've a feeling Aussies could knick it.

Gambhir is suspended as well. M Vijay is replacing him, haven't heard of him.

He opens for my state(tamil nadu), got 240 odd 3 days back in a Ranji match. His opening partner Abhinav Mukund is one for the future, he's 19.. scored 300 not out in the same match in a opening partnership with Vijay.

Didn't see Vijay bat today, but apparently he played well. Got out for 33.

Anyway.. 195 for 3. Good start. It'll be nice if we can end the day without losing a wicket.

Dravid single digit score again.. ;/

Tendulkar's finally got his fortieth after flirting with it for a year or so.

Have a feeling Dravid will quietly announce his retirement at the end of this series as well. How long will he continue scratching around for runs?

Dravid is in horrible form. Drop him down the order or force him to open, a change needs to be made.

Kreitja (sp?) takes a whopping EIGHT wickets on debut.

That's huge, though he was getting belted all over the shop. But it just might turn out that we have a new McGill on our hands, and we'll fecking take that.

I doubt be will retire after this one. Its more likely he will make a deal with the BCCI and announce the series with England as his last.

Katich looking very good.

I hope we don't lose this.

Yea, I have a feeling we're going to lose.

I switched off the TV at 415/5 or something. Checked the score later and all out for 441?

Australia still have a shit load of work ahead for them though.

Complete turn-around.

Australian run-rate for the day was something like 1.9.

anyone watching this?

Bizarre captaincy from Ponting. Allan Border who's commentating is livid. Ponting's kept us in the match

they a broadcasting the bloody footy on the radio :(

found a stream

I just can't understand why people rate ponting as a captain. He's completely unimaginative

more than likely

ponting selfish. sacrifice to save the series

target of 400 will be enough for them. If they try to reach it, they will lose. If they don't, we'll win the series.

I think the 300 is enough
india can just do the negative bowling like they did on day 3 and frustrate australia out

They took 3 wickets in the 3 overs before tea break. We were 166/6(lead of 252) and looked very much like losing the match.

Post-tea break, Dhoni and Harbhajan came out and Ponting started bowling Krezja in tandem with Hussey/White/Clarke for like 2 hrs because the over-rate was down. He'd have been banned for the next match if their rate was below the required. He could've alternatively chosen to bowl Watson(who was bowling fantastically)/Lee/Johnson.

Dhoni, Harbhajan put on like 100 in the 20 overs that followed.

unbelievable really

what was the point. We can beat NZ without him
even if we lost that test match we can still win the series

whereas here we need to win to save it

spastic

113/3 at lunch... game is going down to the wire. Aussies need to score at 4 runs per over to win..

fecking get in
What an over by Mishra and Harbhajan follows it up with Hayden's wicket

Fantastic stuff
