ICC World T20 2016

Had stopped watching when Samuels got out. Absolutely ecstatic about the WI win. Hope they don't feck it up in the final. (Chances are they just might badly!)

Pandya should get his head scanned to find out if there's a brain in there.

Could you be more smalltime?!

Looking forward to the musical celebrations from the West Indies should they win Sunday's final vs England. Gangnam style in 2012 was something when they beat Sri Lanka in the final even though the song itself wasn't my cup of tea.

Compare that to this:

Yep, saw that. Class. :)

No matter what people have said about MS, we are absolutely fortunate to not only have such a brilliant batsman, keeper and captain but also such an amazing professional. There's a reason Sachin advocated for him to lead the team after the 2007 debacle. Leader of men.

We'll be fecked once he leaves. :(

Hoping Windies lose after hearing that song.

They didn't have a song in 2014? Seems like they only have a song and a dance when they actually believe they'll win the shit.

Looking at Windies fixtures they only have a tri series with Aus and SA scheduled after the IPL. Spring used to be all about Windies chasing 420 in the fourth innings, Gayle smashing 300+ and Lara scoring 400 when growing up. It's a bit sad how they've completely lost interest in test cricket with their rich history.

India are supposed to tour Caribbean this year

They are a fantastic T20 team. As the media always points out its the politics in the Caribbean that leads to selection problems and contract problem. Having said that, I am sure they can rack up a decent test side. Likes of Dwayne Bravo, Pollard should be getting chances in test as well.

It's absolutely fun to see them in T20. Imagine they are in the finals without Pollard and Narine. Add those two to the line-up and that is some formidable side.

We are going for a 4 test series there according to WICB president.

As impressive as Kohli's batting in T20 is, that's a misleading scatterplot. The Y Axis maximum is set at around 25%. The difference between Kohli versus Gayle, du Plessis, Pietersen and Finch looks to be about 5% points. Means that In an average game where their team scores 160, the difference between Finch's contribution to the team and Kohli's is 8 runs(5% of the team total).

If you changed the scale of that, the visualization of that would look a lot less impressive. It gets an 'outlier' effect due to the scale and his relative superior batting average(which we already knew about).

What's more interesting for me is where Dhoni gets plotted on that.. so he's more likely to make runs when the team's also made runs. damning.

Australia running away with this game.

Am I the only one who finds Nick Knight annoying? A) He is irritating and B) he can't complete a fecking sentence without using A and B.

Wow, this game has turned around now. Windies should win this comfortably.

Ok Windies are winning this now. Rotation of strike in the middle overs has been impressive.

The Eden Gardens is usually slow and low with a fast outfield. India played in a rank turner earlier while facing Pakistan. I agree though, I can see a high scoring final.

Yeah I know it is typically. But this looks an absolutely belting track.
