Saffers has done well in winning two very close matches but tbf they shouldn't have been in that position against those teams.
Yeah, absolutely. I don’t know what to think, really. Every single game the opposition has basically been in it until the end. Not sure if it’s a good sign to be closing these out or a worrying sign, considering the opponents. One things for sure, our batting needs to improve leaps and bounds.Saffers has done well in winning two very close matches but tbf they shouldn't have been in that position against those teams.
The alleged rapist? How did Lamichhane play for Nepal?
I get the US leg is over (so no visa issues), but how did he get included into the final 15 squad?

Agreed its pathetic to not have reserve days for what is 40 overs of cricket this world cup has become a joke tbh with all the delayed and washed out games.FFS ICC just have a reserve day to mitigate bad weather, which is entirely predictable at this time of the year in the Caribbean and Panhandle. Absolutely farcical to have so many decisive washouts in a World Cup and no provision for rescheduling.
You’d need a reserve day for 50 games. Logistics of that would be a nightmare.Agreed its pathetic to not have reserve days for what is 40 overs of cricket this world cup has become a joke tbh with all the delayed and washed out games.

It would be tough logistically, but it’s probably only a handful of games that will actually need them. It would be better to play the game behind closed doors the next day rather than not at all. You’d need a reserve day for 50 games. Logistics of that would be a nightmare.
You’re right - maybe they can pick based on weather forecast. I dont know how accurate they are given how early these things need to be planned. It would be tough logistically, but it’s probably only a handful of games that will actually need them. If this game is under threat, has a team ever played less overs in a World Cup. What are we on at the moment, about 65? Batted for 24 overs.

Yep.Looks the the weather will knock England out
I know crazy.Where is the rain coming from? Not a cloud in sight
If cricket has to grow as a global sport they have to fix this rain issue and find a good solution whereby weather doesn't determine who goes through. This is frustrating.
